Nothing from gaffers unfortunately, and Famitsu gave it the same scores as the first I believe. According to imageepoch's blog (translated by duckroll), Shuetsu Kadowaki was the director of the game this time. Hopefully that means it's better than the first.

also, it's quite interesting how far Monster Hunter has gone on PSP. i would say it is one of the best system sellers to come in years if it can manage to keep the PSP that high (and being good enough in multiplayer so that people purchase it instead of pirating it)

It performed to or even above expectations, but certainly hasn't made back the money Sega put into it.

I'm sure they were expecting RGG Kenzan to give PS3 a sizeable hardware bump for some time when deciding the budget for Valkyria, which just didn't happen.
