Prince of Persia : Wii Sidestory confirmed !
#1
We're just back from the Ubidays and we can confirm that a new Prince of Persia is planned for the Wii.
It will not be the one actually in development for next-gen platforms, but a sort of spin off. It seems that this game will be unveiled during the E3. Maybe before. Things are not clear about it. But Prince of Persia Wii is definitely coming ! [Source] Last edited by AnGeL LiveWii : 05-29-2008 at 11:52 PM. |

Nope guys, it's a Wii "exclusive".Well, to be honest, it's an exclusive AFAIK, i sure don't work in Ubisoft or anything, but i have a friend who works there and told me some weeks ago he was working on this "PoP" for the Wii - he didn't mention other consoles. |

So who was the genius that decided to release Dogz/Babies screens and announcements while keeping this game under wraps during one of Ubi's biggest events this year?
smh

They should just port PoP : The Sands of Time.
Honestly...I think it's an underrated gem of last generation, and I feel that if RE4 deserved a port, so does this. Although, I am unsure myself how games that require such precision and timing work on the wii. |

Just started development, so if it's coming out at the same time.. that's not very long to make a game even on Wii with the SoT engine.
It will be a rushed job. Removing the PS2/PSP from the equation doesn't instantly elevate it above PSPorts, it just means they can focus on the controls a bit more. |

Wii Ubisoft fans really are the abused wives of the gaming industry.
This is the flower arrangement begging for forgiveness, the Red Steel 2 announcement at E3 will be the out-of-the-blue marriage proposal that you just can't refuse, despite your better judgement. |
