If you hated CoM, there's no reason why you wouldn't hate Re:CoM too. It uses the same system, but the controls are better, and it's in 3D. I really liked CoM, and Re:CoM made it even more awesome.

Radiant Garden (Hollow Bastion)
Cinderalla (Yay new world)
A dust world

I don't think we are going to see a single KH3. I think we are going to see a similar situation to KH on handhelds, with two seprate KH games across the PS3 and the Wii. No reason to ignore the PS3 or Wii fanbases.

Really? I would think that there would definitely be a clear third game, with a spinoff. I mean, it's been years since two and it's time for a third. I clearly expect SE to milk this game even more though. Especially since they are moving away from other games to focus on their main franchises only.

Yeah they will definately do a KH3, but I believe it will be split into two games across the PS3 and Wii. Like "KH3: waggle edition" for Wii and "KH3: Blu-ray edition" for PS3. Hm, I suppose it's plausible. Knowing SE there will definitely be a Wii game and a PS3 game. I would just expect it to be like Kingdom Hearts 3 PS3 and Kingdom Hearts Crystal Chronicles on Wii. :P

I expect FFvsXIII essentially *is* KH3 for PS3.

Honestly, I think we'll see KH3 on Wii and it might even be preceeded by quickie ports of KH & KH2 (possibly even bundled together). They could go the FFXIII route, but even then I'd expect the "real" KH3 on Wii.

The first one is fairly straight-forward, and while the nobodies can be a little cryptic, it's nothing on the scale of say, MGS2. I will admit the "Ansem wasn't really Ansem" twist in two was pretty a pretty god damn contrived way to reintroduce Ansem the wise into the story, but I wouldn't call it confusing or convoluted. i think every major SE franchise is gonna get the FFVII compilaton treatment, we have FNC, and now there's the plethora of KH titles being worked on, i think we'll see both a KH Wii and PS3 title at some point, probably once FF13 and Versus13 hit, then they'll no doubt move the FNC onto handhelds.

He recorded the trailer from a public LCD, as far as I can tell... nothing forbidden.

Odd thing about the Terra, Aqua, Ventus names is that they're clearly aligned with earth/water/air, and Riku and Sora, I believe, have names having to do with elements as well (but in Japanese).

It wasn't public, the trailers were shown in a closed mega theater and if I'm not mistaking there was security inside who had to make sure no one was recording the trailer.

I hadn't seen Ventus out of armor yet. I'd have to do a side by side to be sure, but that didn't seem "similar" that seemed identical.

Square is also notorious for not allowing ANY photography, at ALL. At E3 you couldn't even take pictures of the floor screens, much less in the mega theatre.

Why is that odd? Names that reflect weather or environmental entities is standard practice for Nomura characters: Cloud, Squall, Tidus etc...

And I don't know why so many people think KH3 is coming to the Wii, and just the Wii. I think that'd be kind of a dumbass move on Sqaure Enix's part, ESPECIALLY with their decision to move away from original IPs.

KH obviously has a following on Sony brand consoles, so I kinda doubt they'd just ignore the PS3. I'm thinking they'll do something like FFXIII and release two related but different games for the Wii and PS3. Two sides of the same story. Maybe do one with Riku and one with Sora.

And also, I agree the Kingdom Hearts games (especially KH2) are convoluted and confusing as fuck. A lot of the plot points don't even make too much sense. What exactly is Kingdom Hearts? I know it's the "heart of all worlds", but what does it DO, exactly? Why are bad guys always after it?

And why haven't we seen the Nobodies before KH2 if one is "born" every time a Heartless is? Were they hiding somewhere?

Why did Xehanort steal Ansem's name? Was a reason ever given for that? And why is Xehanort's Nobody "Xemnas" if Ansem isn't his actual name?

But oh well, I play them because they're fun, not for the story, really. I'm not even a big Final Fantasy or Disney fan (I don't like The Lion King, for example). Honestly, I wish they'd take the KH combat system and make an original more "grown-up" universe and story. KH gets a bit saccharin and cornball at times.

fake edit: Just read up on Dissidia, and that looks closer to what I'd want, sans the one on one aspect.

But if they made Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Monsters Inc., and Wall-E levels in KH3, I'd be all over that shit.

The main plot of KH is nothing short of a mess. Ignore it and enjoy the fanservice and battle system, like everyone else. Just because you say darkness 35 times doesn't make it have any more meaning. And yes, I "knew what was going on"; but that doesn't make it any less sloppy.

@EricDiesel: The Xehanort name question will probably be answered in KH bbs, the name of that bald guy in the trailer is xehanort.

And also want KH3 on the PS3, just imagine Mickey Mouse and Goofy in HD ^^

But I wouldn't be surprised if the game is a wii exclusive eventually :(
