RE4 can be beaten in like, 6hrs or less. The game was great though and had a ton of replay value, if RE5 is the same in that regard I'll be happy even if the game isn't all that long

Standard time with RE4 is 12 hours, al least for me and all of my friends.

The majority seem to have taken, like... triple that 6 hrs. Everybody I know beat it around 15-18, me personally at 25 because I move so slowly. RE4 was long.

I have to agree. :(

It's especially bad when the director keeps going on about how he's making an effort to really create a contrast between light and dark. Simply over-exposing outdoor scenes and draining the color out seems like the cheesiest, cheapest way to do so.
