I'm seeing some real wacky graphical bugs in my PS3 version. During the opening movie Seigfried had a black bar shooting out of his face and during gameplay Kilik had the same issue during several matches where these solid bars shot out of his chest and arms and ran all the way off-screen. It's a major lighting bug that somehow slipped thru into the final game. Maybe the patch that just got released fucked up some shadowing issues?
I'll try to post pics when I get the chance. Anyone else notice this? It is painfully obvious if you have. I haven't seen anyone reporting this issue yet. The positioning and thickness of the lines changed every match. I was using Kilik's alternate outfit on several different stages. Some were much worse than others. |

Well I caved, I wasn't going to buy the game at all and then went ahead and bought the Premium Edition for the 360. elohel.
The regular game, a card with a code for some dlc, a comic/art book, a tourney chart, a marker for the tourney chart and an XL shirt. Assuming a bit much on the last part there eh Namco? |

I come from SC2 but I totally hate the Tower-model right now. I'm on floor 34 or 36 or something like that and fights turn into hour long hatefests where you get lucky once and beat a string of opponents. It also turns into fights against the clock more then against challenging AI opponents.
I'm kinda stuck in the tower and that means that SP is basically dead to me. Descending the tower will get me to floor 5-10 and not much deeper, ascending has me stuck against 10 enemies who block a lot of moves, have all kinds of S abilities and I have about 20 seconds per character. Ringouts are hardly possible since most have ring out protection S. In the earlier (at least in SC2), you had a way to progress through the storymode even if you were stuck somewhere. There were always lands to visit, levels had secrets that opened up other areas and the main path to victory was definately easier then most off-branch stuff. Which meant that you were never stuck. |

Why doesn't every fighter rip off VF4's training modes? Seriously, why can I not have a command training mode that lets me go through every characters moves without having to pause the game every couple of seconds to see what the next few moves are? And why isn't there a timing indicator on the moves that require exact timing with certain inputs? I'm pretty certain SC3 had a really good training mode buried in it, although my memory is a bit fuzzy since I spent the least amount of time playing that iteration. I don't mind it if a game is deep, but it should be transparent.
At this rate I'm going to stop off at EB tomorrow and just buy the guide so I can have the move set in front of me and a better explanation of how to pull of some of the timing. Not everyone prowls [insert fighting game title here]'s forums. |

I haven't tried all that much, but I haven't been able to get into any standard ranked matches yet.
I'm mainly focusing on single player stuff right now, I blew threw arcade with Kilik and even got a perfect on Algol, then tried his Story on Hard and had a hell of a time with that bastard. |

Church's Chicken coupon just confirms what I've said all these years; black people love Xbox. :P
Anyhow, played two matches on a blue box connection and it was flawless. I won two matches in a row with my Raphael, and then got booted from the server for poking the hell out of the turtle Scrubvantes corpse. :D Awesome. They're really changed Raphael. PS3 owners can look forward to a 30MB patch at boot. Installation takes about 16 minutes total. LOL I just knocked all the armor off of Turtlerugi. lolol :lol |

Wow...This game is pretty awesome..The graphics are ridiculous. Soundtrack is great too.
I really can't understand all the hate on the english voices...they are pretty good actually. Usually i would play with the voices in japanese because i usually prefer jp voices...but not this time. There are enough good voices that warrant playing it in english. Vader, Apprentice, Siegfried, Hilde, Ivy, to name a few. Lol Vader sounds horrible though in jp. |
