been playing this for a while after seeing my friend having more trophies than me. Figured the '5 thingies in 10 minutes' would be doable, so I played garden 1.

Its suprisingly frustrating for such an 'ambient' game. You can be miles up in the sky,not quite being able to see far enough to know where there is anohter plant, do a jump and then miraculously miss every fucking plant until you impact on the surface. You'll fly through tiny gaps between plants that you wouldn't be able to do if you were trying.

Its one of the few games where I'm actually swearing at the TV just because I miss one tiny jump and I'm doomed to climb back up for 5 minutes.

and 10 minutes is actually quite tricky :/


Still fun though, in a masochistic kind of way.

The game is pretty awesome. I just don't like the controls that much. Why can't I control the direction of my character when I'm in the air?
It's really frustrating.

Yeah, try playing with people who aren't very good at it. My mom enjoys it, and I enjoy playing with her, but sometimes I have to go all the way down to the bottom because she misses a jump.

Although sometimes I mess her up too, and she makes sure I don't forget it.

I'm not sure if more people have this problem, but I managed to get all the 31 seeds in garden 3 with the 5 spectra. I didn't get a trophy? According to the stats screen at the end I got 31 seeds out of the 31 >_< What's going on?

There is no namby-pamby patch. They were misquoted. What they actually said is that they're working on an expansion to Eden and they may throw in some easier modes in that.

Sweet suggestion, I just got it and it's incredible. I also downloaded Every Extend and I like that too. Although I fear that I'll tire of shoot 'em ups within the coming months. I'm loving so far.

I wish I could, my ISP at school only allows for access to either Live or PSN, not both. And I registered my Live first, so when I went to register my PSN...No dice. I would have chosen Live if I had to anyway but still, it sucks. And it's preventing me from getting Eden for $5 dammit!

I wasn't a fan of the demo but the full game has grown on me (the time limit isn't as bad as I thought it would be and I couldn't pass on this at $5). My primary complaint is with the need to re-do much of what you've done on a level in order to advance. Still a great game though and the soundtrack is ace.

Just unlocked garden 5...oh man, favorite garden so far. It's totally different than the other ones and the music is so bass thumping. I'm trying to savior every moment of this game before the end. This is definitely one of my personal GOTYs

Sorry if this is old - it's new to me. PixelJunk Eden will be getting a free update on December 19, at least in the Japanese version. I don't have a release date for any other region.

I got this information from a promotional banner on the J-PSN store. I don't have any details about what the free update does. However, I'm guessing new levels.

Nice. I don't really need the game to be easier, but I hope the multiplayer camera improvements are significant. It sometimes does rather counter-productive things, like following the player that is falling down.

Sounds like a great update. I found the original version to be too hard, and I had a hard time getting into the game. Hopefully it makes some of the trophies a bit easier as well.

Cool. I still have two trophies I need to get. No Wasted Pollen and All Seeds on Garden 10. This'll be fun to get back into. Hopefully my friends will be around to try all seeds 10 with.
