Final Fantasy stop-motion - wtf did I just watch? #1

May be old to several people, but the view count is surprisingly low on these. I just discovered this on Youtube:

A FF7 stop-motion music video, and it looks like there's a couple of these starting to get out there.

Is this going to be the next big Youtube fad, given how many game-related action figures there are?

Thankfully the time it takes someone to do something like this is intense, otherwise I would say yes.

Zack's action figure is actually Cloud's body with a KH Axel head.

Imagine owning that Tifa toy with the giant boobs and then showing it to your parents/girlfriend.

I know it's not exactly new, there are some other relatively recent examples I can think of like the Gundam/Haruhi dance bit. But I can see something like this taking off on Youtube with enough exposure.

I agree somewhat, but doing any sort of serious video editing can also take just as long hours-wise - depends on the medium you're working with really.
