Chrono Trigger is a DEAD franchise, supporting this game is the only way it will ever come back. Its do or die, simply put.
Dragon Quest? There will always be Dragon Quest. |

So it has orchestral arrangements of the Chrono Trigger theme and then a medley of 7 tracks (Premonition, Guardia Millenium Fair, Wind Scene, Frog's Theme, Epilogue ~To Good Friends~, To Far Away Times).
(don't know if those are the official translations, just used the first google hit) |

While this is a Chrono Trigger thread, I too would cast my vote with DQIV if you had to choose one, just because of how tenuous a grip DQ has in the West: every sale counts.
Now, you said you only had time for one... Why not buy both and then you can always play whichever one you can first, and get to the other later? |

I'm ok with the delay, like others have said it's a very busy holiday season for games (big shock, I know).
And like Dragona said, we can put our DS monies towards DQIV this Fall instead. While I've played through CT countless times, I never owned DWIV back in the day so I'm pretty jazzed to play it. And in the Spring I can hold on to my naive belief that if CT sells through the roof maybe Square-Enix will give us another Chrono game someday. Win/win. |

The videos aren't playing for me so I can't see the font you guys are talking about, but bothering to make it smaller seems kinda weird. Even with one screen the loss of resolution from the SNES original is pretty low, but with two screens there's much more room to play with.

Delayed? Well that's a kick in the groin.
Fantastic game, although I hate it and prefer CC. |

Of all the things that might potentially have kicked Kirby Super Star Ultra (ninth favorite game ever) over Chrono Trigger DS (fifth favorite) on my list of most-wanted games, I have to admit I didn't see font size coming.
