Good for Peter. Japanese game creators have a tendency to come off like arrogant pricks (I'm looking straight at you Yu Suzuki), so Naka probably deserved it.
I'd also never, ever want to try to run the U.S. division of a Japanese company, unless said company was smart enough to leave me the hell alone and let me do my job (and thus make every decision). |

I think Moore was definitely in the "right" (or, at least, I can totally understand why he'd say that). You don't accuse someone of something like tampering and just get away with it. That's a pretty huge accusation to make -- especially without evidence.

I'd love to find out in maybe a decades time or something exactly how responsible Moore has been for EA's incredible resurgence as a fucking brilliant brand.
After the crash and burn of the Dreamcast (coincidentally the last console to ever see quality Sonic Team games as Naka systematically culled the true talent from the group) he's really gone from strength to strength with being an incredible figurehead for the X360 and now EA. What exactly is taking Naka's Prope so long. Mistwalker and Platinum Games, both companies set up by "cast out" members of previous devs have shown, and in Mistwalkers case released, multiple titles on next-gen systems. |

What has Peter Moore ever accomplished? Yuji Naka has done more for the gaming industry than he ever will. Worst of all...Moore gave away Shenmue II to the XBox.
Also, if those tattoos are permanent then he truly is a retard. I hope he gets an EA tattoo on his forehead and then they fire his ass. |

Peter Moore established the Xbox as a legitamate gaming platform and if the newly positive and aggressively creative EA is down to some of his influence, then yes, he has achieved more than Yuji Naka who currently seems to be failing at establishing his own company. When I ran focus groups we did this personification exercise quite frequently... my favorite one?
4Chan - it's the dude with a trench coat around the corner that has what you want... but you check 4 times to make sure no one is looking before you go over to talk to him. My client was an anime-based web site... they were "roughly" in the same realm |

Hey, I've got a great idea! Let's choose a side and pour hate on the one we didn't choose.
