Just woke up: interesting news. I think Wii Music is the first misstep Nintendo has made with the mainstream audience in quite a while. That is the nature of Nintendo's business model: when you attempt to reach the Blue Ocean, you don't really know what their tastes are beforehand. That's why they're the Blue Ocean -- they're new people with untapped tastes. When you expirement in such things, some games can be explosive hits, most (virtually all) will be duds. Nintendo's ability to strike gold repeatedly in such short order is astonishing, however, and it's still quite possible I'm wrong about Wii Music.
The big news of the night, aside from the DSi, is Samurai Warriors 3. Not a game I care about in the slightest, but that is a very big deal. Also, I can't believe the last few pages of this thread have been dedicated to the impression that too many of the upcoming Wii games are made by Second and Third parties. |

storage solution for the wii ? where ?
however, this was a typical post 2001 nintendo show.. many sequels of the sequels, one surprise (sin and punishment), another hardware revision (this time apparently good.. apparently). Last edited by Warren Ellis : 10-02-2008 at 07:02 AM. |

But, like I said, it was underwhelming after the brilliance that was YI on the SNES. |

Btw, I wouldn't worry *too* much about the copyrights for now. If it's anything like the conference last year, in a few hours websites will be running screens of all the games seen in the trailer reel and there'll be more specific copyrights for each game, especially from Watch Impress' individual pages for each screenshot.

The "Channels" they're showing on the NDSi site are as follows:
[TOOLS][NDS CARD][CAMERA][MEDIA PLAYER][SHOP][PICTOCHAT][DOWNLOAD PLAY][EMPTY] There's tons of empty slots open which means that there's either tons of internal storage (less likely) or you can see apps stored on the SD card from the main menu (more likely, and hopefully what they'll do for Wii's Channel menu system). |

The fantasy action Wii game with giant enemies and lots of slashing is Dynamic Slash. You can read the title in the list here. :P |
