Yeah, I don't get the gap in release dates either -- especially when IGN has already reviewed the PC version. Dead Space for the PC ships a week after the console version too.

On the bright side, now they can blame piracy when nobody buys it.

Probably my last two retail purchases of the year, I may still pick up some possible PSN stuff. Only reason why i'm getting SOCOM is because of the headset, btw. I may give it a shot but i've never been much of a SOCOM fan.

Oh god I want Dead Space and SR2, but I also really really want the headset in SOCOM. I doubt I can get all three, not with Rock Band later this week and my wife wanting LBP. Argh, I hate you Oct/Nov. I'm already pushing Fable 2 back a week or two.

I'm pleased I got my wife playing the LBP beta though, she liked it enough that she was asking if I was going to get it and I said sure but not right away. I think she'll end up picking it up and it won't count against my gaming quasi-budget. ;) Rock Band for sure is on her, she'd camp out for that if she could.

I would have gone today to pick some stuff up but it's election day here so I voted instead.

I will try this. Unfortunently the French one was fubarred (the "Tu" or informal version of "You" is listed as "Formal" and the formal version "Vous" is listed as "Informal",) but the Spanish one seemed fine, I even took notes and such.

Also the voice comparison in the others was cool, you say the word/phrase and it shows your pitch, and you compare it to a speaker pitch and adjust accordingly.

I wish I could afford some of these games this season, I just lost my job last Friday due to the New Housing/Economy :/

It's obvious it's about to get MUCH worse before it gets better. :(

I was really looking forward to GoW2, Dead Space, Saints Row 2, SOCOM, R2, LBP this season.... this AIG thing is turning my life upside down. I won't be able to afford games when I'm going to be struggling trying to make enough to eat, elect, phone, house payment etc

At least it has a lot of 3rd party support now :P.

I'm really interested in Deer Hunter: Tournament actually. But I'm waiting on some reviews first. The Co-op mode was awesome in DH: 2005 and wandering for hours to find one deer and then miss, is epic :P .

Unfortunately I don't have a good pc at my disposal atm, but as soon as I have it again I will definitely buy Far Cry 2 and buy Dead Space for a low price.

I'm kinda happy to see that LBP has been pushed back

This week is
a) a new 320G HDD for my PS3
b) Castlevania, Dead Space, Socom

and I guess I'll wait for Bioshock, Saints Row 2, Far Cry 2 and Midnight Club... :( Too many games and so few spare time to enjoy them (and well, money is also a factor).
