Wowza! I need a game to keep me occupied through the half-term week, it was between Dead Space and Fable 2.... however after seeing some of the Fable 2 review scores, not to mention some of the hilarious stories from the official thread, I know which one I'm leaning towards.

Just wish I didn't have an MOT and car tax to pay at the end of the week. :(

MS now with an incredible studio in their hands (always knew this) and one of the best minds in the industry working for them. Cant wait for thier next project, always belived Fable 2 would be a masterpiece

IIRC, Fable was received very well critically (9's) but as we all now know, there was a shitload of things that were missing.

...so no, I wouldn't go as far as to say "Molyneux kept his end of the deal this time around" because it's too early to call.
It's Molyneux, after all.

Fallout 3 and Fable2- two games that are getting decent reviews and seem to be ones I would enjoy.
Nice gaming fall season so far.
OXM gave Fallout 3 a 10/10, maybe need to discount the review a little, but I have found OXM actually does decent reviews that are close to my personal opinions.
And I'm glad I'm not stuck with sock puppets as the only decent game so far. Getting tired of sock puppets.

Bullshit. Eurogamer and Edge gave it an 8 (well deserved, it was a really good game, its big problem was not reaching to the original ideas and being overhyped). Was a solid base for a truly greet game: this one.

When you include Eurogamer's review, Fable 2 has a 95 at Metacritic right now with 4 reviews. I fully expect it to stay above 90.

This will be the most overblown statement of the year. Read the Fallout review in OXM first before making any more statements. Good review and goes over the game fairly thoroughly. Or was your mind already made up 2 months ago?

Even though it was just me mocking the 1up Yours comments, I do believe it'll be a much better game then Fallout 3.

And I'm really pleased Molyneux seems to have come through this time, he always seems to under deliver and just forget about it, just brag about his next title, but it looks like his nailed it this time. I'm very excited.

I agree 100%. Molyneux's just a blue sky thinker. He comes up with the ideas - it's up to the team at Lionhead to bring that to fruition. Not only that, but he's not the only designer that brought ideas to the table, I'm sure. Game designers are overrated.
