It smells enough like SaGa, what with no field maps at all. You just go through towns and dungeons through a picture of a map :-/
I just wonder how you can make that into a 40-60 hour RPG without any exploration. Me thinks that the dungeons will be plentiful of fights. Not sure if that's a good or a bad thing. |

Haven't been a fan of the little ive seen so far, and Famitsu is pretty terrible when it comes to reviews, but im glad to see it get such a high rating just to tone down all the trolls roaming in the Last Remnant thread. Nothing better then the bitter tears of a fanboy.
Will be really interesting to see more reviews though. |

i'd rather not concentrate on what Square Enix RPG they've given poor marks to, but rather the fact that Famitsu reviews aren't to be trusted. Period. |

i think this is more the whatdog.gif effect of this game looking anything BUT a AAA-class game. It's more to do with Famitsu and their baffling place in peoples perceptions as a good review source. |

Cannot freely use techs during battle so at first it was confusing, but once you can assemble a union it becomes interesting to make decisions on the formations and arrangements. Round 1 (each round?)'s battle is long but it's not a problem. Subquests are fun with no end in sight. It screams "Buy this next week~!" It's got a unique style, but it's a very
memorable masterpiece. I can't wait to continue! [edited to make it clearer to understand] Last edited by Autumn Thread : 11-12-2008 at 07:14 AM. |
