Being destroyed by Fashion Girls Mode isn't a sign of poor advertising, it's simply a sign of total lack of interest from the PS3 fan base, at least in Japan.

To be honest TFVI did surprisingly well for a 2D shooter. Even the most successful shooters on the PS2 rarely saw beyond 10k and I think that's about where TFVI is right now.
