I know, I know
.Thanks to your threads I even got to know about the RED cameras: once you begin to dig into the realms of digital and 3D -or stereo, as our man likes to call it-, you have to read a lot. By the way, I was told by one set decorator of Steven Soderbergh's Che that his RED camera got hot like hell while filming in Spain, they had to put frozen plastic bags to keep it cool. Titanic? Not a chance. Although I don't remember if Cameron said he would release a 2D version or not. Last edited by megateto : 02-07-2009 at 10:27 AM. |

Now, from what I understand, Cameron still plans to shoot Avatar 2 and/or Battle Angel at 48 fps. |

Because a modification would need to be made to all digital projectors. They actually have the capability though.

I'm not a film maker, but I actually thought about using a lot of cameras and the advantages. Full 360 films, that kind of shit. I didn't realize what he's doing until now.
My interest has risen a lot. Last edited by half a moon : 02-12-2009 at 04:29 AM. |
