You need a 7 letter/number code. If you keep getting 5 or 6, back out of the code screen on the 360 and choose the "activate instant streaming option" again.

It worked for me with a 5 digit code. What I really think they're doing is reusing codes and Netflix just sees those codes as being used already but that could be my imagination at work here.

edit: Also Netflix has Orgazmo up for stream fuck yes.

I must say the avatar options are bit of a disappointment. No fantastical options (like say green skin), not even a crop top. Can't even choose clothing colours.

Only being able to have one is a pain too.

Wow, the Netflix streaming is really impressive. All your movies in your queue show up instantly in an iTunes-like album cover flow thing. Each movie or even each episode of a TV series has a synopsis. Streaming happens almost instantly, too, about a 10 second initial load time. When you fast forward, this film clip like screen comes up that shows the future frames and well as the past ones, hard to describe but it's pretty cool. Video quality seems nice, on par w/DVD.

What are some HD movies on Netflix's site I can try?

I'm not sure if that was the key or my first 7 character code just happened to be a lucky one. It was my only 7 character code in about 50 tries.

And right now.. it redirects me to download the optional media update for AAC and MP4.. which I already have.

When I activated Netflix yesterday (or 2 days ago) it was only a 4 digit code.

It's been updated so you have to redownload it. Just do "Download Again" or something.

I wish there was more menu customization. I want to remove the shit I will never use.

I'd remove:

Video Marketplace - I will never buy videos from any online service. At least not until DVD's and Blu-Ray die off and HBO/Cinemax/Showtime/Starz all go away.

Events - Don't see myself using it.

Maybe move some other stuff around. Remove the Music panel since I won't ever use anything but my MacBook with iTunes or my AppleTV as an Airport Express to play music. (Seeing as a good chunk of my tunes are DRM.) Photos really isn't that important but I'll keep it. I'm just glad Videos got a first in line place here. Also, I'd remove the Windows Media Center one too. I can't even use that one! GET RID OF IT PLEASE!

And what the fuck!? The update killed my Media Update! I can't play any of my videos! What's the point of this now? Man.. this is now disappointing. I can't use my Xbox for half the reason I have it!

For anyone having trouble getting the Netflix codes to work. Try using the back button once,then reinsert a new code when given. It worked for me after doing this.
