Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, and Yeun Biao of the 80s are god-tier.
Makes me sad with them getting older there will never people guys like that ever again. They came from a completely different era of film making that allowed their physical attributes, creativity, and totally reckless life endangering feats for pure cinematic enjoyment to redefine martial arts and action cinema again and again. |

Anyone having a problem viewing netflix from a desktop browser? My videos will play then out of nowhere 5 minutes later I'll get a transparent bar that says "loading" but it will never load, wont even show progress. I refresh the browser page and the video starts right up from where it left off, but does the same thing like five minutes later.
Edit: Here's a screen cap of the problem

Just watched The Shire. It starts off a bit slow, but it gets really good. There is a lot of polish dialogue, with no subtitles. Which I think its a good move. Keeps the mystery of what the heck is going on.
It's a good, creepy, scary movie. Anyone looking for a horror flick, should give it a shot. |

Yeah, can't find it either, too bad.
Another positive recommendation for Dead Zachary, that was very emotional. EDIT: Damn, seems that Pandorum was here on tv only yesterday, bummer.

I was having problems connecting to Netflix on the PS3 (It said failed to connect) but usually if the DNS thing stopped working before it would just redirect me to the UK one, but last night it just wouldn't boot up at all. Figured it was a problem with the app |

Another vote for SENNA I know next to nothing about F1 racing, incredibly interesting and really original way to make a doc (uses only archival footage the entire time) No idea Senna died, made the ending hit much harder
Watched BEing Elmo to wash down SENNA, great doc, very heart warming |

I have a question that is not related to this thread so excuse me in advance if i make it here but I am not a native english speaker and I need to ask you guys a question.
Could you tell me what statement is more correct in english ? In the initial 5 days of the patients infection they were cured with antibiotics. or In the initial 5 days of the infection of the patients they were cured with antibiotics. Thanks a lot. |

That's how I'd say it, unsure of the comma use though haha. Or you could flip it and say: Patients were cured using antibiotics in (or within) the initial (or first) five days of infection.

Not saying your question is stupid, just the thread title, and a thread to ask small questions like this. |

How Beer Saved The World is one of the worst "documentaries" I've seen since Celsius 41.11 and Zeitgeist. It's on an Ancient Aliens level of bullshit. Your 45 minutes are more precious than this, and if this thing keeps popping up on your top 10 to watch like it did mine then do yourself a favour and skip it.

I thought they were putting up the Babar tv series but all I've got is two God damn measly films.
Still, it will suffice for tomorrow. edit: never mind, crisis averted. It's up. Fuck yeah King of the Jungle. All 6 seasons.

Is Babar something that actually holds up for adults? I know I watched it as a kid, but I don't really remember much else (An elephant family and maybe a hot air baloon? Arby's tie in mugs? Sledding?) and would be interested in checking it out if there is something there for an adult audience.

Have you seen King of Kong? Because it paints the complete opposite picture.

I guess if you still like Arthur and shows of that ilk then Babar would hold up for you. If you find it too childish now then nah. |

Yes to the bolded. Unfortunately, I'm a little harder to appease - I'll also need Tiny Toons Adventures, Freakazoid, Batman: The Animated Series, Doug, and (especially) The Adventures of Pete and Pete. In fact, they can just directly inject that last one right into my veins.
