I'm just popping in to say that I think your art style would lend itself well to a re-imagining of Syndicate. That, or Grim Fandango. Or pretty much anything noir.

I think i've settled on a genre, but i'm still deciding which game. Orioto has done lots of sidescrollers and a few top down games, so i want to see something different -- a racing game. so i'm trying to find the game that would look great and have a lot of energy in a still-shot.

what does GAF think? so far i'm liking Outrun 2019's style (especially the green city with the bridge) just because there's so much going on in any given still shot. i've considered f-zero, but i like the retro car racing game idea and think skidding/smoking tires would make for part of a nice image. i like the night tracks and the cool effects that would allow Orioto's image to have (light trails, neon, glowing, etc). opinions/input/suggestions are welcome -- i haven't decided what game yet :P

edit: i asked about N64 because i'm a huge (San Fransisco) Rush fan, but looking back at screenshots, i'm not sure if it'd be a good fit for an Orioto remake.

Well you can't do better than that. It's the worst choice you could do ! Basically, all of this game should look as every random next gen racer, except i'm not doing this in 3D, so it will be lame and useless... Now, this is the rule, if you insists i have to do it ! But i just want you to know it's THE worst thing i could do. What's the point in having a 2D concept art of a basic modern car caring game...

I don't mean to be a bother, but I'm thinking The Adventures of Rad Gravity on NES might be a fun one to do in the future. I played the hell out of this game when I was younger, and to this day, it still remains one of my favorite bizarre gaming experiences ever.
