^ My big pickup was this new Panasonic Plasma for the other bedroom. It's 42" so I went with the cheaper 720p model, since it doesn't make a whole lot of difference at the size and it was on sale.

Very nice stuff quality-wise, quite nice.

Awesome pickup.

I have also been thinking of upgrading my TV situation. I currently have a 720p 32inch, but would like something 42-50inch. Is there a general rule of thumb for when a 1080p would make sense? I don't want to spend the extra money on a 1080 if I don't get real added value. I would be using it for PS3 games, BluRays, and a basic HD cable package.

No pickups for me in Jan, was saving for the SF4 haul this month XD I'm also waiting on a HTC Touch Diamond after not upgrading my phone for 4 years D:

Work in progress. It's wobbly as hell, but hey, it's my first attempt; I'm allowed to make mistakes. :lol
I spray painted the underside of the lexan sheet with matte black paint. It looks very nice; the black shines through the clear top for a glossy, reflective effect.

No interesting PS360 releases in January so I started looking on marketplaats.nl and Ebay for cheap PS2 games to fill the holes in my PS2 games collection. I'm becoming more interested in RPGs and since I'm now able to play US imports, I bought a couple of games that never saw a European release like Grandia III and Xenosaga I.

Thanks for reminding me that I need both Shadow Hearts 3 and Tales of the Abyss.

How is SH3, really? I heard it was a huge letdown after SH2.

No idea, I have yet to play all of those titles. To be honest: when I buy PS1/2/GC titles, it's so I can add them to the collection. I simply don't have the time to play them. There are exceptions: I'm currently playing FFXII (I had stopped two years ago mid-game, I'm now going to finish it. But when I'm done with FFX12 I switch to KZ2 and RE4.

I've been kinda obsessed with Fighting games lately, so I've been fleshing out my collection, hence I picked up King of Fighters 02, Street Fighter Alpha Anthology and Guilty Gear Accent Core.

I was GOING to buy a new guitar last night for my Rock Band set up. I had a dollar on me and was at the casino, put it into the penny slots and won 27 bucks. Figured hell, I just lowered the cost of the guitar for me by 26 bucks.

So in my excitement, I left my wallet on the slot machine...

PWNED.

I wasn't joking. The dudes looked a little too small for it to be SFIV. It was like a cross between Team Fortress and Bill Sienkiewicz. Fucking awesome.
