Hudson is doing a lot of stuff on WiiWare.

This game looks (graphically) like CS.

Co-Op is cool but seriously those graphics are terrible.

Turok 3 for reference.

Negative comparisons are best done to games that aren't played much anymore.

This has potential. I hope it turns out good.

That's probably a fair comparison since the 40mb WiiWare limit means this game will be about the same file size as Turok 3.

Turok 3 never looked that good on actual N64 hardware BTW. That shot is an up-rezzed emulator screen.

So no more than that.

Again, for those of you who don't know, there's a 40 mb limit for Wiiware games. (Still doesn't look as good as most WiiWare games.)

First people are ignoring the fact its for wiiware and then they pull the it looks like a n64 game even though its pretty obvious it looks a lot better. I not saying that i love it but it looks ok for what its for and the size limit.

I can't say for sure whether I'd jump on this or not, as I've been burned out on general FPS stuff for several years now...however...the focus on co-op over deathmatching leaved me mildly intrigued----as the times back when I enjoyed FPS games were also largely of a co-op nature.

Let's see what Hudson's got cooking in terms of depth and such...

Just because something is new doesn't mean you have to buy it people or get hyped for it. This looks like shit. No excuses.

Seeing this, we should agree that they make a big mistake, at least from a Wii owner point of view.

Don`t see why the polygon count is low, it`s not like higher polygon models take up a noticably larger amount of space, textures are what should eat up memory. I could excuse low res textures, but not polygon models this low, that`s N64 material right there.

Strange because Bomberman Wii Ware is actually a very good looking (And sounding!) game...

GAF jizzed all over itself when they released Duke Nukem 3D on XBLA without updating the graphics at all. How is this any different really? It's just supposed to be a cheap fun shooter.

Yeah seriously
With a 40Mb limit and today's compression technologies, it's incredebly bad looking.

I was about to rip into the game but didnt realize it was Wiiware.

With that size limit games of this scale probably shouldnt even be tried. 40mb is like N64 Territory in terms of storage. Im not really surprised these images gave me quake 1 flashbacks now. The crosshair omfg its so ugly.

Bomberman Wii was on a static screen, with a smaller pallet.

An FPS has to have Multiple locations, as well as weapons, enemies, AI and netcode. That's a real apples to oranges comparison.

Duke Nukem 3D was (is) a great FPS, it's almost a classic.

This is an uninspired piece of shit who looks like a N64 game, and no, it's not a hyperbole this time.

Maybe the game will show it's truly a quality piece of software, so that time I will retract my words, but for now it's looks like shit.

Not only does this look like complete shit, but the co-op will be terrible as well given the Wii's online track record. What a waste of time and money.

Yeah... I agree with this. It's just a bad idea to try and do this given the limitations. Things like Duke Nukem 3D at least has the nostalgia factor going for them.
