Yeah, as much as I tried to avoid it, I have 6 Lions.

Bias aside, I really think we have a few good prospects that will rise in value this year, especially as Voss seems to be implementing a more high possession game plan.

team superduperawesome and its team full of people with first initial J will blitz this league. Just you wait.

(I'm very curious to see which of my teams - this one or the dreamteam one - do better as I actually thought about my dreamteam one somewhat, whereas this one is just all the Joshs, then Jasons, etc, etc)

You might want to ditch Josh Hunt considering he's out for the season!

I hope you have Jarrad McVeigh, I'm picking him for top 10 in the Brownlow.

As another tip, Goodes is a shoe in to win it all. He's due. 2003 - 2006 - 2009. Mark it down!

Worst Brownlow medallist ever.

Should hand both his medals to Brett Kirk.

Aw what? The Joshs are shrinking even more.

In other news, Michaelangelo Rucci has done his top 50 too. Any better? There is Essendon players in this one at least. Definitely more South Aussies, unsurprisingly, too.

Quote:
...From this top-50 list there will be eyebrows raised in how 21-year-old John Anthony - after just 12 games with Collingwood - can make such elite company.

But who else in the AFL has achieved such extraordinary efficiency as Anthony did last season when he made coach Michael Malthouse forget the Magpies had drafted him as a defender. With 68 kicks, Anthony produced 31 scores for a remarkable 25.6 - with goals in every match.

Those captain photos are great. Tom Harley looks like an evil genius with plots for world domination. And Sam Mitchell is fittingly standing in some kind of superhero pose ready to stop him.

Commercial is pretty meh. Would like to see it on my tv rather than a crappy little youtube version, though.

I'm telling you guys, put money on the Swans at $3.10. Crazy odds for the first round. St Kilda don't have a back line. They'll be playing Zac Dawson! Bazza to kick 6. Just watch.

Supercoach servers in chaos due to some unexpected team changes.

No Heath Shaw, Steele Sidebottom or Dayne Beams for the pies has thrown many people for a spin,

75 minutes people!

EDIT: This is annoying AND ridiculous. Is every dickhead in Australia trying to do their team?

I leave to footy training at 6pm with the Dream Team servers down, I return at 7:30pm with the servers still down... ah well, what happens, happens.

I tipped Carlton, but I have a feeling it's going to be an intense and close game.

Not quite.

Horror night for Richmond.

Absolutely flogged by a very impressive Blues outfit, their terrible skill execution didn't help.

Worst of all, Cousins' hamstring went twang gone for 3 weeks at least. Andrew Raines appears to have injured his knee again too.

Both of them are in my Supercoach team. F*** my life.

Terry Wallace will not last the year.

Don't despair!

Quote:
League games begin in round 4 (or if joining later in the season, at the start of the next upcoming round). Note that the overall Herald Sun TAC SuperCoach competition starts from round 1 as usual.
Each team plays 'head-to-head' against every other in your league with an automatically generated fixture, between rounds 4-18 (or from the round that you joined). Each team will play against every other once. Scoring will be based on your total Herald Sun TAC SuperCoach fantasy score, with 4 points awarded for a win, 2 for draw and 0 for a loss, in your league's ladder. A Finals knockout series will follow for the Top 8 during rounds 19-22, based on the actual AFL Finals series (1st plays 4th, 2nd plays 3rd, etc). The Bottom 8 will also play-off for this league's 'minor premiership'.

The 'real' league starts in Round 4, so you can still join the league.

Fev did well

PS Richmond, well, should keep trying. It's not all bad till about 6 games in, then Wallace will be under real pressure.

Bit premature after one loss, isn't it? The Richmond team is a good one and he's a good manager. Their lack of execution on ball skills and defensive pressure were hugely evident tonight, though.

Its not about one loss.

Its about his 5 year plan, and he's in the fifth year. Gary March the Richmond CEO has essentially guaranteed that Wallace will be sacked if the Tigers aren't making a mark on the finals this year.

In what way is Wallace a good manager? He's had 5 years to turn the list around and he's got high quality players playing a style of footy which has killed all their confidence and playing like scared amateurs.

I can't stand Terry Wallace. He's a spin doctor in the extreme who does not deserve the reputation as a "mastercoach" that he seems to have attained. He's got nothing on his resume to prove otherwise.

The way Richmond played last night has that horrible look of a team that has lost faith in their coach and their gameplan. Terry has a couple of months to stop the rot or he is on borrowed time. The poor bastards have the Cats next week, it could get very ugly.

I've never understood the hype for Wallace either. What exactly has he ever acheived? As far as I can tell the best he ever did was taking the bulldogs to the prelims in 97 and 98, only to be beat by the crows both times. Big woop. But when Richmond got him you would have sworn they'd recruited jesus.

Also, seeing cousins get injured is hilarious to me. Just the way it coupled with the absolute trashing in what was an amazingly overhyped 'showdown' just amused me.

Both teams looked pretty unfit. Second half seemed to be either lots of dropping off the man, or lots of clogging up. The game wasn't exactly at a ripper of a pace either. Some good young players for the Crows though!

But damn, I already knew the Pies' fans were feral, but the guys I was sitting next to took it to a whole new level.

A: The Collingwood Cheer Squad.
