Hey now!

Well, I figured theres a couple of Stern fans on GAF, so why not have an official thread for the show? I've been listening since I was a kid. I'm from Jersey (Newark specifically) so Stern is pretty much in my blood. I'm a gigantic fan and I literally don't miss a minute.

I used to watch this show on E! when it came on late at night. I was late to school many a times because I stayed up to watch it....

Real shame it doesn't come on E! anymore. Now that I can actually watch it without suffering the repercussions it's no longer on. :(

The only exposure to Howard Stern that I had was from E!.

As such, I was one of the first bastards to subscribe to Howard TV.

If you liked the E! show, then you should go for it. It's about 12 bucks a month.

Frankly, I get more annoyed by Howard Stern than anything. He leads the most perfect of lives...and it's just too brutal to endure at some point.

I live in Colorado, so my first access to Stern was from the E! channel.

Finally, Colorado got Howard Stern on the radio though.

It sure as hell seemed like the next day, but it was pretty close...the Columbine school massacre happened.

Stern made some inane comment such as the killers at Columbine should have been trying to rape some chicks if they are going to go on a murderous rampage or something.

Needless to say, the Howard Stern show was gone from my state within a couple of weeks.

So meh...

It'll be a cold day in hell before I ever pay for satellite radio, but it does annoy me that I still have never even heard one of his radio shows.

Also, f Stern for being such an ass about keeping his schedule. What a power hungry douchebag. He's ON SATELLITE RADIO WITH HIS SHOW REAIRING THROUGHOUT THE DAY. Get off the morning drive time, damnit. Let Artie and the rest of the staff have a life past going to sleep at 7 pm to wake up for work.

Didn't you answer your own question there? HE CAN IGNORE ONE OF THE HOTTEST WOMEN ON EARTH TO PLAY CHESS.

First of all, you're dismissing Stern's talent by saying stuff like "he just sits around talking." There are thousands of other people who have tried to do what he does and failed miserably. Second, having vacation days doesn't mean shit if you can't allow yourself to enjoy them. Hearing him point out the most minor flaws in everyone around him tells me he has no fun on his time off. He sits quietly somewhere thinking about shit, stressing over things he can't control, getting freaked out by inconsequential bullshit, etc.

As for Beth O., remember the expression, "For every supermodel out there, there's a guy who's tired of fucking her."

The grass always seems greener from the other side of the fence, but all I'm saying is that Stern's life seems far from perfect. I grant you that he's stinking rich and got a hot wife, but that doesn't mean he's enjoying it all.

I got into Howard by checking out the E! show. I had just started fapping...and the E! show was perfect for me :lol .

The schedule is what drives everyone crazy. Jackie quit because of it... Artie is too much of a howard suckass to quit... but he is having the same problem Jackie was. You can't work the road on the weekend and then get up at like 4am everyday.

:lol you know I didn't want to say anything but I used to record some shows on my VCR and whack it to them later.

That show had a lot of hot women who were always willing to get half naked and show off their asses. It was good times.

Also Wild on E! was equally awesome. Those shows made me break my wrist.

I've listened to the show a LOT and that was one of the only times I needed to turn it off. I'd rather listen to Richard retching than hear Lou talk dirty. That dude is seriously gross sounding. I've seen bits of the Fischer porno and I think having to fuck this creep is exactly the punishment that girl needs. They deserve each other.

The great thing about Sirius is that the show is on channel 101 three hours later than it normally starts. Then it replays on 100 for the rest of the day. So now you can hear it whenever you want or tune in for parts you missed.
