I doubt we'll see any of these Tales games over here.

I think Graces has the best chance though, followed by Vs.

I'm glad to hear Tales is finally coming to PS3. Probably going to get a day one purchase from me. Now I don't mean to troll, but I would love SO4 to go multi also and I would be set!

PS3 Vesperia! Who cares if the 360 version comes to PAL now? I'll just import the US version of the PS3 game

PS3 version will especially well if Vesperia Never Comes To PAL. Lots of US imports to bump sales up.

Don't worry, the PS3 version will bomb, because of one reason and one reason alone.

It was not released simultaneously with the 360 version.

Hopefully it does better than ES, and it can should namco do the right decisions.

TOV is coming to PAL in June... PS3 version, not before the end of the year (I guess)

<3 Tales of Versus, can't wait.

Also, Tales of Vesperia puts another point in the PS3 column as I try and decide which to buy(had a 360 but it bricked several months ago). I mainly play RPGs, and neither system was really excelling but at least 360 had ToV on it which was great fun.

Well, at least something good came out of Scamco delaying the EU version forever, now I know to wait for the improved one (and import it from the US). Also, the chance is good that it will have dual audio so I'll be able to keep up my resolution of refusing to buy non-dual audio current gen JRPGs.

There's no excuse for not bringing out TOV PS3 outside of Japan (And they'd be crazy not to when 95% of the work has already been done)

Are these Sonata figures for Japan? If they're for North America I'd like to see where you got them from. Here are the reference Eternal Sonata figures for Japan (http://www.japan-gamecharts.com/360.php)

Eternal Sonata
360 - 70,000
PS3 - 49,000

Why not? ES did. I always assumed the only reason ToV didn't was disc space.

But hey, if it doesn't it's no problem, I'll be able to save some money. I buy too many games I don't have time to play in any case.

Interesting! So it presumably wasn't disc space, just lazyness. I didn't know that. I'll probably wait for the PS3 version regardless though, I hate not having the most "complete" version of any game.

So did the 360 version. Dual audio is most useful as a shield from bad localization anyway, which in Vesperia's case, you're safe. Telling yourself you are getting a more pure experience by listening to what may as well be gibberish to you while reading the exact text you would be listening to anyway is asinine. Not to say it shouldn't be an option, as "bad localization" is subjective, but I'd rather have the game fit on a single DVD (yeah, yeah, Blu-ray, whatever.).

Oh, and whether or not ToV PS3 has multiple language tracks will be a good indicator of how mailed in the port is (hint: it should probably have multiple tracks).

The Euro 360 ToV will have dual audio? It will have Japanese voices, or do you mean Euro languages other than English? If it has Japanese audio then a big WTF to Namco for not including it in the NA release. I always assumed the NA release did not have dual audio because of disc space. Not that I minded the English dub of ToV; I thought it was fine, but it would be nice to listen to the Japanese voices on a second playthrough.

i gotta repeat, with the exception of the opening theme song, the English voices for everyone was quite excellent. but if people want the japanese voices, Namco shoud give it to them.

So it's cool to like Vesperia again?

Also, let's be logical - there's a SLIM chance Vesperia will release outside of Japan for PS3. It's way, way too early to begin celebrating.

ES was one thing, but getting Namco to bring Tales games to the US is like pulling teeth. Anyone willing to take a ban bet better be prepared to lose.

Companies would help themselves much more if they price these late ass ports at a better price point. I'm thinking $39.99 would be great but even $49.99 would help. Full price and people will balk like PC gamers on a late port (without the scornfull piracy).

Sure, but I hate the disc switching. Specially once you reach the post-game, it becomes extremely annoying.

It's the reason why I stopped playing it, a DC with more characters and no disc switching would be sweet as hell for me.

I can't see even Namco being that averse to profit. It's bound te sell enough in the US to make up the costs of releasing it if 90% of the localization work is already done.

ES was a new IP, so more of a gamble for them to bring over the port. ToV could do better, considering it's a good game, and all. Much better fan impressions than ES too.

As long as the games are good, I don't care how many Tales games get announced...

Day 1 for Graces and VS if they ever come here... sadly, I think Graces is the only one with good chances of coming, hopefully fully voiced too ...

I think by now and after the sales of DotNW, ToV, RM, TotA and ToL, Hometek would know well enough the Tales userbase here to pull an Atlus...

Actually, I have next to no doubt in Graces making it, but Versus is the one I want most on principle. (Sorry, disco swordsman. I still love you.) Though right now there's nobody confirmed for Versus who I'd want to play... But hey, at least they picked Richter instead of Emil.
