The US version of FFVII had a bunch of added stuff that the JP version did not have when it first came out. The game was re-released in Japan with the added stuff from the NA version, and they called it "International".

So there's nothing major that's different from the NA version right?
I might pick it up someday, always wanted to play the game in Japanese, to see if I'd end up finding the game's story more understandable and less strange and goofy. Oh, and because it seems obligatory to mention the issue in every FFVII topic: lol FFVII remake not happening this gen. |

SCEA needs to bring this over to the US and Europe. I will never understand why they avoided bringing Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid, but not bringing this over would be ridiculous. I already own the PSOne version of this game, but I might buy it again just to go through it again just because I loved it.

I really don't understand what the hell is going on. Why can't SCEA just release the goddamn games in America? Why is there such a polarity between two different regions?
Sony is full of bullshit. SCEA brings home the PS3 titles with Naughty Dog and Santa Monica, meanwhile SCEJ puts out shit like Folk Lore. SCEA brings almost zero to the PSN network in terms of PS1 games and Home Spaces, yet Japan gets Final Fantasy VII. WHY? |
