Hey guys, don't post in the OTD much, but I could use some help.
I'm aiding a friend in writing a magazine article, for a fairly famous "Entertainment" ;) magazine about 1980s "California Movies". I gave him the original idea, but he is clearly a better writer than I. By this I mean films that really draw you to the life and culture of that era, as well as balance feelings of both beauty and disgust. So far, as examples, I've presented Suburbia, Repo Man, Less Than Zero, Night of the Comet, etc.
I could really use some more recommendations. I know I've seen more that fit this aesthetic, but I'm having a pretty mind-numbing day.
Cheers,
Red No. 5
