What's hilarious with this damage story is that the game supposedly was finish according to Kaz like 2 months ago and now they talk about things they are trying to achieve for the final game??? The fuck is a final game? GT6 in 2057 ??

The translations, good lord.
Anyway, can't wait until the doors are blown off this game. I'd love to see some Rally footage, especially now that PD has the WRC license. ![]() |

Umm... I hope that's a dodgy translation because it sounds to me like they're using demo feedback to decide what they're doing with the damage.

I wouldn't mind waiting on weather to be patched in like Valve does free updates to it's game. Oh, I'd love to see dlc events (free). Keep GT fresh.

Reposting for new page...
No news gran turismo 5 ...why? I'm just thankful that so many people are interested in Gran Turismo 5 and we are doing everything to make the game come out soon... but we have our priorities and gran turismo psp must first release on October 1. The only thing I can say today ... is that gran turismo 5 should be out shortly after that date. What about damage? The game code that we brought to the Gamescom marks the first step of what we are trying to do with the damage. You can finally see that much damage appear on the bodywork. but we're interested to know how far the players want to go. The damage has already repercussions on the steering but beware ... It should not affect all vehicles in the game. After so many years to develop gran turismo, no weariness? I cant get enough of gran turismo, there are always so many new things I want to do. Proud of the evolution of gran turismo? I think I managed to make my original idea. But, of course, many new ideas were shoved in my head during these last years. So today we are heading towards new exciting goals. Last edited by Niks : 08-21-2009 at 03:29 AM. |

I want this game soon, but I'm gonna be mad at PD if they release this RIGHT GTPSP. One game at a time please, I'm not loaded and I need time to finish something :(
GT5 was the reason I bought a PS3 last year, so I am eagerly anticipating that. However, I bought a PSP 5(!) years ago for GTPSP |

Stupid head tracking is what i will notice more in actual gameplay than damage. |

Is there any videos of the head tracking stuff yet? This is totally going to blow my mind if it works.

The head tracking sound ridiculous. We don't have a 360 degree screen around us. If I turn my head left as much as needed as to look on my side, I would lose the screen just like I wouldn't be watching in the windshield of a real car.
I hope they didn't lose to many precious hours develloping this stupid feature. . |

When you match that up with proper steering wheel and clutch/manual support. |

I am willing to wait a lot longer for GT5 now. I downloaded the DiRT 2 demo today from PSN UK store and am very excited for the real deal. PD take all the time you need, I need to fully enjoy Dirt 2 and NFS:Shift first!
Tokyo R246 is very very sexy btw. |

Huh, in this demo there are other rally cars in the race but only the player's gets damaged. I hope this doesn't mean anything. :P

Speaking of gaming chairs and cockpits, does anyone know how Playseat Evolution is? Most important thing of course is comfortability, I'm thinking of buying this one:
http://www.amazon.com/Playseats-Clas...0827099&sr=1-4 The black one is $180 bucks, seems fair enough. |

And did you see the helicopter segment? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtK29Xu7e4g#t=4m15s, after seeing this I couldn't imagine the helicopter without his head movements. I know in some flight games you can press a button to look left, up and down, but you'll have occupied fingers. This seem like the next control step. The camera being where you need it to be like games with great cameras (GoW1, 2 like games). Last edited by Ploid 3.0 : 08-21-2009 at 05:29 AM. |
