Great thread. My sim racing jones it getting a serious kick from what we saw from both Forza and GT5.

Forza looks real slick and I'm glad they really went after more visual polish. GT5 has pulled a huge coup by picking up the WRC and Nascar licenses. I'm sure they're will be F1 cars as well.

I find lack of Ale offensive.

This year's E3 was SO much better than last year. Everyone had better stuff to show, and the conferences were largely more entertaining. Could have done with fewer numbers, but I thought we liked numbers here?

And I'm actually looking forward to waving at my TV to control the dashboard

This has been one of the best E3's ever, this is one of the turning points for all gaming forums because last night, every fanboy, be it Nintard, Xbot or SDF, became one in a single moment, where every one of us stood up and proudly said "Fuck James Cameron".

I was getting really worried during the Nintendo conference that I'd have no reason left to keep my console, but Metroid and SMG2 really saved my day.

I think all 3 conferences had stuff to get excited about.

Even Nintendo, 2D Mario and a 3D Mario console game in one conference; great stuff!

I agree with AniHawk. Too bad I won't have time to play all these.

I'm stuck in 2007. I'm currently playing Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed on PC. I won't get to these games till 2011 D:

I'm loving this E3.

Mario Galaxy! The Last Guardian! Uncharted2! Golden Sun DS!

The conferences themselves could really be better, even the highly polished microsoft one totally lost it near the end, but what came out of this E3 is simply amazing.

Absolutely. I'm so proud to be a gamer right now it's not even funny. Major props to ALL the major publishers and devs who truly take their time and effort to create an awesome gameplay experience.

What an amazing time to be a gamer. E3 definitely delivered to for me on all fronts. Nintendo delivered, MS delivered and Sony delivered as well. UBI remains king though due to that epic epic conference. It was like living in the fucking twilight zone...so so awesome.

I currently own every major system but the Wii and all this E3 had done is made me want to buy a Wii without trading in any of my existing systems. Lots of great stuff coming out for every platform. Some new IPs, some older franchises being updated and some classics being remade. I'm one happy gamer.

I'm going to need a spreadsheet to keep track of what I'm actually going to spend my limited gaming coin on this fall.

There is at least 3 games I want to buy for every console. No one bombed this year. Love all the PSP news, mine has been gathering dust for a while. New 2d Mario will get my wife to play some games with me. Uncharted 2 looks fun as hell in a faux tomb raider/indy kinda way. L4D2 and Alan Wake. mmmmmmhhhhhmmmmmmm. Going to be an expensive year.

Here's to hoping that Sakamoto keeps them in check and who knows, without Itagagki, maybe the camera won't be dogshit and Samus won't have triple E boobs.

Hell yeah.

It's been a great time for gaming ever since, I feel, the DS began to go crazy a few years ago and hit its stride.

Ever since then, we've had:

Billions of amazing DS games
Millions of AAA 360 games.
At least a large number of amazing Wii games from Nintendo and the God Tier 3rd party teams.
Dozens of amazing PSP games.
Aaaaaand a game or two on PS3*

* I kid gawdammit, I have a PS3 and That Certain Strategy RPG justified its existence as far as I'm concerned.

Video games have been freaking incredible the last several years. Fanboys whining because they don't get 1 or 2 particular games that save gaming all by themselves are cheating themselves.
