This seemed to be the best place to post this. Has anyone been keeping track of the 'Baltic Sea Ufo'? It was found at the bottom of the Baltic sea via sonar sometime last year and was reported around the globe. (Insert crashed Millennium Falcon joke here) Now the team who discovered it have this last week gone back to study and investigate it, where they currently are now. http://www.oceanexplorer.se/ Apparently they have found something "amazing". Ignoring that is probably a rock formation, sunken battleship etc etc The website/reporting seems somewhat amateurish and unscientific. Strikes me as a long term viral marketing stunt more than anything :D

They said that it was a 60m wide round object with jagged edges and mushroom in shape. It has an egg like opening in the top which is surroundd by what looks like fire places and coverd in 'soot'.

They still have no idea what it actually is or how it was formed but have taken samples back to be studied as they arent even sure if its rock or not and there is no know volcanic activity that would account for what they found or even what material it is made of.

Basically, that have no idea, however the team searching it are treasure hunters, not ufo conspiracists etc so i would doubt they are pushing anything to much as their own agenda.

Ugh...I hate sleep paralysis. My episodes are always the same...pressure on my chest and I feel like there is something else in the room hovering over or around me. Freaks me out because it just happens out of the blue and I can go years without experiencing it. Sometimes it happens multiple times in the same night. I'm usually able to at least close my eyes and that helps a little bit with the visual hallucinations. The whole time I'm trying to scream or flail my arms. Be happy you've never experienced it...its not fun. :|

I've only had this once. Fortunately, I read about sleep paralysis maybe two weeks prior to it happening. I opened my eyes and thought someone was standing over me. I tried moving but I couldn't. Then I remembered sleep paralysis and simply closed my eyes again to sleep lol! It was unnerving at first, but when equipped with the knowledge, it eases away quickly.

Seriously...fuck sleep paralysis... Had an episode last night that terrified the ever-living shit out of me. The way my room is set up, my bed is against the wall on one side of the room. I typically fall asleep on my side, so i'm facing the wall, and my back is turned to the rest of the room. So as I'm sleeping, I wake up in the middle of the night unable to move. I'm still laying on my side, but I can't budge for some odd reason. I'm wide fucking awake (or at least it feels like it) and I cannot move. Suddenly, I realize that something is terribly wrong. I begin to hear a insane growling noise just above my ear. Like some fucking terrible demonic creature is hovering above me, breathing in my ear. I DARE NOT MOVE. I'm literally frozen still and deathly afraid of what might be waiting for me if I turn around. This goes on for about a minute before I fucking force myself to move. I awaken to find out that it was some horrible fucked up dream I was having. Seriously...fuck sleep paralysis :(

Years ago (mid 90's) I was a big Magic the Gathering fan. I'd made my first trade for a Lord of the Pit.

Anyways that night I dreamed I was standing on a cliff dressed in black robes holding a staff with a symbol at the top like the one in the card. Below the cliff ledge was a plain with a big symbol again like the one in the card. There were monks dressed in black robes dancing around the symbol. I was chanting something in a language I didn't understand and then the symbol on the staff started to glow and the symbol on the plain started to glow. There was a huge bright flash and then ... I woke up. Except I couldn't move. Could barely breath. Was deathly cold. Felt like something on me. And something incredibly evil was in the room with me. I could feel it. I started praying like mad, eventually the paralysis wore off and evil presence went away.

It's never happened again but I don't care what the scientific explanation is of sleep paralysis ... That shit felt waaay too real. I wonder what the symbol on the card means (if anything)

Reminds me a LOT of the only time I've had sleep paralysis (that I can remember). I woke up to hear a terrifying scream in my ear from a woman. As the scream just went on and on, I could see a procession of "monks" in dark robes walking around my room searching for me. They didn't find me because I was "hidden" under the blanket, and when they left I went back to sleep.

I'm pretty sure I got the imagery of the monks from a metal video shown on MTV. Don't remember the band... Mötley Crue, perhaps? Something like that. In the video, someone explores some ruins and falls into a hole in the ground. Down there, they see robed monks performing some sort of seremony. I've searched for the video on the net, but haven't found it.

If he said anything other than 'It's cool!' he would be fired and most likely subjected to fines. Of course he's not going to say anything. It still could be nothing. Yeah those are strange. I know that alot of UFO can be explained, but these always struck me as just being weird. Especially the shapes.
