Suikoden 2 needs to be on the PSN store ASAP.

This. This is the last thing I need and then I can finally let go of the franchise. Every other Suikoden after 2 has failed to interest me. Just give me 2 again (or better yet the 1 & 2 upgrades on the PSP) and I'll be happy. I actually wouldn't want them to make a 6th game, because I'm pretty sure they'll screw up again.

Panned by critics? It has the exact same Metacritic score as Suikoden V! As far as failing to capture fans (old or new), well, it sold nearly as well as Suikoden V did, too, so...

I always just assumed that those numbers were an indicator that the only people who bought Tierkreis were primarily old Suikoden fans.

Actually, depending on the development stage this isn't a bad sign. I know from experience that making demo builds is a tremendous pain in the ass and a big hit to the schedule. I suppose it's possible it's in dev hell or whatever, but...

Considering that:

a. Dead Rising's success is mostly in english speaking territories
b. The trouble they had releasing it in Japan anyway
c. It's clearly a 2010 title

That would be strike one against showing it. Strike two would be if they are in a particular crunch during production where they can't afford the time to branch the game for a demo. If the choice comes between no demo or missing their launch window and E3 presentation, they will forgo TGS, no question.

My assumption is that the Ace Attorney team is probably racking their brains to figure out what to do to make the "two factions" of fans happy. The people who think that Ace Attorney 5 should have more influence and references from the original trilogy vs. the people who think they should make number 4 the main reference point to a new story arc.

They've had like two years to rack their brains - I think the Edgeworth game was a product of their indecisiveness.

It's time, the game is overdue for being officially announced and shown. TGS can suck it if Suikoden VI and Gyakuten Saiban 5 aren't announced.
