I'll probably just skip since I don't want any of them, but damn. What a nice guy. |

Depends on the amount of active requests ahead of you. I've been in the 60s in the queue for a game when it shipped before.

I think price went down because eBay made delivery confirmation free. So, price increase minus the 19 cents or whatever dc used to cost.

I'm in the process of letting my Goozex account die out, still have some points stuck in the system. I'm going to miss the random gifts and notes from weirdos. Today I got this beauty:
![]() Anyone else ever get a game from the guy that includes DC graphic novels? Good ones too, I got a volume of Sandman with Shadow of Destiny. |

I just had my first bad Goozex experience, and I'm pretty sure I know what to do but I don't wanna get effed so I'm appealing to GAF for guidance.
Basically, my request got paired with a no-response, no-feedback guy. Enough time has passed where I can give feedback and I just want to do it so I get my points back. It says if I cancel the trade I get my points back but the seller has to confirm (don't think he will since he hasn't done anything at all so far). Or I can give negative feedback saying I never received the game, but it doesn't say anywhere that I'll get my points back going that route. So I guess I'm just asking if giving negative feedback saying I never got the game will get me my points back or am I sol? |

Never cancel a trade. Also don't add yourself back to the queue manually. The system will do it for you automatically |

The day after I made that post I checked my mailbox one last time before giving up on the dude and sure enough, there was the game. So all was well. I ordered one other game after that to zero out my points and tokens and leave the system. It was pretty sweet for a while but it's been looking kinda dim lately, so I decided to get out at least for the time being. Can't believe there are still 0 MW3s for offer. |

I'm wondering if something bad happened to the guy I shipped Skyward Sword to. The package got to him a few weeks ago, but he never left feedback and wouldn't respond to messages. He's not a scammer, as he's got feedback in the x4 digits. Goozex finally (and I guess automatically) gave me my points for the game without getting any feedback.

I had no idea Vita was even coming out so soon
Ugh...such a boring game. Zelda is my favorite series but I put down SS halfway through and haven't played it in almost 3 months.

I really wish ~70 people would trade Metroid Prime: Trilogy for Wii so I could finally get it. :(

Back up to almost 1800 now. I've been sending a ton of stuff that I won't play anymore out and getting a bunch of stuff I won't play in return. It's nice. :D

What events led to Goozex losing so much business? A couple of years ago they were averaging 5-6k trades.
Personally, I stopped using the service after two of the 1000 point games I shipped to US traders were "lost in the mail". Both were to people who had left like 10 negatives in their 80 trades. Either USPS was completely unreliable, or people were lying. Sort of coincidental that out of the 40-50 games I shipped, the 3 that never made it to their destination were all 1000 point titles. With tracking service costing $15 when shipping from Canada to the US, it wasn't feasible to pay for tracking.

I like that Goozex counts the customs slip number as tracking when shipping from the US to Canada. Doesn't cost anything extra and it's still proof that the game shipped. Sucks about your games though. Some people can be real assholes. |

Historically, missing game entries on Goozex were blamed on Rovi, and folks were told to post the game data in a thread so that Goozex could bug Rovi to update their database... recently, though, I've noticed that a good many misnamed/incorrect/missing games on Goozex appear to be listed and correct on Rovi's own AllGame.com site (including a complete Saturn listing).
I wonder if there's a chance Goozex has stopped paying for updates to the game database. |
