I wouldn't say I hate Fusion. I just wouldn't call it a proper Metroid game. I wouldn't call Metroid II much of one either. I also liked the Prime games, but they were Metroid flavored, but not really Metroid.

Hopfully it drops to $199.99 in Canada too; it's $279.99 here now; $20 more and you can buy an HD console, which isn't very good for Nintendo.

Here in Europe the Wii costs as much as an Xbox360 Elite, €249 each.

I'm still gambling on there being a NCL conference next Tuesday pre-TGS to announce a global price drop etc. so a cut the following weekend would fit in nicely...

I'm shocked they're dropping the price honestly. I didn't really think they needed to and figured for them the $249 price point was working well.

Will definitely be very interesting to see how the Holidays play out now for sure. It'll definitely move quite a bit more hardware than I thought they would if they stayed at 249.
