Zhao Yun and Sun Shang Xiang (PS3 MultiRaid) will be appearing in NG Sigma 2. Actually it looks to be just the costumes and not the actual characters, (think Ryu Hayabusa fully wrapped up in an armor)and you'll unlock them under meeting certain conditions.
Ryu Hayabusa will also be apearing in PS3 version of MultiRaid, Nu Wa from Warrior Orochi will be appearing for the 360 MultiRaid.

DW/SW/WO games are usually announced then released fairly quickly. The only exception I can think of is SW3 for the Wii, but even that was nothing more than a name on a list until recently.

Damn, I hate this generation.

DLC is pretty bad, but buying a whole NEW game to get a couple of characters is HORRIBLE.

Edit: Will wait for more info before I get real mad.

Yes because this practice is new to the fighting game genre in this generation alone

Pretty sure it ended up at like 350k ish in Japan, and who knows what it will do in the west.

Well I mean come on. When was the last time any fighting game came out with "Just new characters" they're most likely tweaking everything. I seriously doubt they would leave the rest of the game unchanged.
