1,791,593 as of August 17th and selling ~3-5,000 per week at that point so probably add another 20k to that.

That still seems incredibly unlikely to me, but given that I didn't think there was any way it would sell 250K or so in 3 weeks, maybe I'm not the best person to ask.

I thought it sold more than 200k, must be Blue Dragon and SO4 then.

[NDS] SaGa 2: Hihou Densetsu, 91,547 / NEW

Is that a good number for this game? What was the total shipment?

Well let's say that we're almost in October... Even with a slow decrease in sales, general Holiday increases will keep the number floating and FFXIII is sure to provide boosts. I think it's doable, but I'm not the best person to ask either cause I'm barely ever in these threads :lol

With FFXIII around the corner it seems like the PS3 can beat the Wii in YTD. realistic or not? i mean, wii is still getting wii fit + and new super mario bros wii.

Selling 90,000 to 100,000 would be between 53% and 59%.

The problem is FF13 is still 3 months away, and Nintendo has the price drop and Wii Fit+/NSMB Wii as you said.

Tales fanbase does not care what platform its on, if you saw ToV do like 500k then there might be a install base argument as with other games.

Generally its 120-250 regardless of PSP, Wii, 360, etc

Since you made a thread based on my post, you might want to correct I few mistakes I made:

Wrong:
17./11. [PSP] Monster Hunter Portable 2 G (BEST) (Capcom)
18./04. [NDS] Love Plus (Konami)
22./00. [PS3] Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (BEST) (Square Enix)

Right:
17./09. [PSP] Monster Hunter Portable 2 G (BEST) (Capcom)
18./07. [NDS] Love Plus (Konami)
22./12. [PS3] Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (BEST) (Square Enix)

Thanks.

Yes, next Thursday alongside Wii Fit Plus. It obviously won't make as big an impact as the Slim, but it could help push hardware up a decent amount for a bit.

I think Wada is going to get his wish and have five million shipped. I think DQIX will finally end up at about four and a half millions in the end.

Thanks for doing the thread, cvxfreak and Road. :)

With Vesperia debuting pretty high and the fairly large amount of PS3 titles in the Top 50, has the PS3 turned a corner? Are third-parties' continued efforts of support of PS3 over Wii finally starting to show strong headway in Japan?

How can people predict things like this ?

Great Vesperia sales, I think namco finally learned their lesson.
