The original retail DS game allowed you to play the full multiplayer game with one copy of the game. Here you have 3 or 4 times the RAM avaliable and suddenly it can't be done, WTF?!)

I really would love to get this but I probably won't without DS Download Play support :( Oh well, at least there's Bomberman Blast and the retail Bomberman games!

This game is only 5 bucks, the retail is much more expensive. So here everyone can buy the game for the same money. I think it's all kinds of fair.

Bomberman's pretty good, a few strange flaws aside (lack of single-game local multiplayer, and 'quit' is always highlighted first when an online match is finished, making it easy to exit by accident). Shame it isn't eight player online like the WiiWare one, but then that one is 500 points dearer. Portable-online Bomberman for 500 points isn't a bad deal :)

Oh yeah totally forgot about the Data East Collection. 15 games for $20 ain't a bad deal. Especially when said games will be ported by M2 and include a host of extras.

There's actually a nice little page for it on Majesco Entertainment's website. The box-art is shown as well.

Among other things there will be 75 "accomplishments" that can be attained by completing various goals in each game. These open up various features like soundtracks, art(?), and other secretive secrets.
It's due early 2010.

The graphics are barely better and mostly irrelevant as we are discussing a game from 20 years ago, and some of the character sprites are actually worse looking. The brief bits of narrative are extremely stupid in the port. The biggest issue is the music - if you don't prefer the chip tunes then there is no hope for you.

any classic nes game such as Excitebike, Battletoads, Contra, Ice Hockey, Wrecking Crew, Pro Wrestling with added online multiplayer is worth 1000 points imo. esp. for those who dont have friends.
