Actually the game comes out in a few DAYS. Which is obviously even worse.

Way to handle marketing, Activision. That said, the game actually looks good. May pick this up. Not a huge fan of COD, but I had some good fun with WAW Wii's online play.

If the talk about what was going on behind the scenes is true and it's looking more and more likely it's true (Treyarch wasn't even allowed to have their logo in the game!!!!) then I would say yes. They do want the game to bomb and are trying their best to do so. Seems like they are doing everything but putting up an ad telling people not to buy the game because it's crap.

Looks like they Treyarch did a decent job on it too (which had to make IW furious I think). Why even allow the game to be made if they were going to do their best to kill it themselves? This is just wrong. I was going to hold off getting the game but I think the best payback to Act and IW is if for Reflex to do well sales wise and for all reviews to talk about the work Treyarch did and give them the credit they deserve for porting this game over.

I think another reason IW is sabotaging the game is that if the game sells like WaW then Activision is going to want MW2 on the Wii, etc and that doesn't fly with them since they think they are too good to work on the Wii and their games are too good to be on the Wii.

There's no doubt in my mind that IW went apeshit when Activision told them they wanted to port MW to Wii.
