wow that's... intriguing... never owned a 360 and I've been shying away from the idea of buying an Arcade model, but maybe this is what I need to jump in... just fart around with this for a while, and eventually buy a hard drive for it and a year of Live

Anyone should be able to flip an old 360 on craigslist or whatever for at least 100, so this would be as you said a great way to get a jasper like you said.
I'd recommend this to anyone who has a pre-Falcon board 360. Those things are ticking time bombs. |

I've had a 360 that has been sent to Microsoft 6 times for red-ringing which, by the way, I think might be a record so I might end up ditching that zombie Xbox in favor of a new one.

I'm probably going to do this with the Gamestop trade in (assuming it's close to 100$). I have a Falcon Pro but the DVD drive is loud as hell. Might as well upgrade to a Jasper and get a fresh controller to boot. The Gift card will go towards a huge grocery purchase. I've always preferred the clean white look of the arcades.
