I fail to see how the more cinematic version of Bayonetta is considered the inferior one.

like Japanese people are going to look at the X360 version and go "HEY WAIT! this PS3 version is gimped!!" - it's not going to happen. But why on earth would you hope for a games company to get a worse reputation? So we can get -even less- games? :/ |

I also think it's rather unfortunate the PS3 version of Bayonetta sold that much, too. It tells other publishers that they don't have to work hard on their PS3 versions for them to sell.
Decided to skip out on Bayonetta entirely because the PS3 version lags behind the 360 one, and I hate the 360 pad like rats (not to mention MS customer service). |

well that's good news! the sooner we get rid of all these wanky companies who don't show the PS3 the respect it deserves the better. Lets hope people get their wish and these company get bad reps and then stuff simply stops selling on PS3 and they migrate over to other platforms! - it'll be a long hard wait for the next Naughty Dog game whilst everyone else i banished Sony fans : TACTICAL GENUSSORS ;) |

But that doesn't mean I'll buy crappy PS3 versions either. Bayonetta just happens to be a game in which I know I'd enjoy the Dual Shock 3 more, after playing through the Onimusha and DMC games on the PS2. So, it's a skip. I would have put up with the 360 pad if I had nothing else to play this holiday season, but that's not the case, so too bad. Maybe next year when it's hit the budget lineup. |

no one trusts MS fully, not even x360 fans like me.
but we at least know where to pick up X360->PS2/3 controller converters (i.e. every games shop in TK at the moment!) ;) you might have missed it - but yeah, go check out Bic or Sofmap or Tsutaya , they are all carrying the same one.

now this advice goes to a whole slew of people who bring this similar point up over and over. if you aren't going to play your X360 and you have a PS3 - SELL the X360! This is a prime case where the X360 version is better in a substantial way - if you are going to say "bu bu it might break if i use it, so i won't buy the game for it" then you basically just have a soda streem looking piece of junk taking up space in your house. GET RID OF IT! |

While S&P 2 has bombed at least I can look forward to getting a really cheap JPN copy sometime before the US release.
That kind of goes against whatever I'm supposed to be standing for(especially since it's a game that runs at 60 fps most of the time) but Q1 2010 sounds more like Q4 2010(I'll probably buy the US version anyway cause I don't want to give NoA any ideas). Looking forward to what Treasure is going to do next at least. Will they resume work on mysterious 360 title? Snag another anime license and churn out a couple fighters? Sky's the limit I do believe. |

Though they may need a bunch of new swords cause I've just about matched every weapon skill in the game. =/ But yeah female main character. I'm getting kind of extremely bored with the kimono/sandal-fest that is the female npc cast. I need a fine lady in cool(or even stupid) armor wielding swords that I named after 2D shooters because I'm a nutter. |
