Most of those publishers probably look at WW sales, and I seriously doubt the PS3 version is gonna perform well in the west given the bad rep.

I still own a 360, so I'm not totally against the system. But I'm at that point where I won't buy another one at the present price points if mine decides to die again, which makes me hesitant to invest in games for the system that are multiplatform. But that doesn't mean I'll buy crappy PS3 versions either. Bayonetta just happens to be a game in which I know I'd enjoy the Dual Shock 3 more, after playing through the Onimusha and DMC games on the PS2. So, it's a skip. I would have put up with the 360 pad if I had nothing else to play this holiday season, but that's not the case, so too bad. Maybe next year when it's hit the budget lineup.

you might have missed it - but yeah, go check out Bic or Sofmap or Tsutaya , they are all carrying the same one.

While S&P 2 has bombed at least I can look forward to getting a really cheap JPN copy sometime before the US release.

That kind of goes against whatever I'm supposed to be standing for(especially since it's a game that runs at 60 fps most of the time) but Q1 2010 sounds more like Q4 2010(I'll probably buy the US version anyway cause I don't want to give NoA any ideas).

Looking forward to what Treasure is going to do next at least. Will they resume work on mysterious 360 title? Snag another anime license and churn out a couple fighters? Sky's the limit I do believe.

The most important thing is that Plus adds a female main character. More characters in general would be a good thing as well. The game feels barren compared to WoTS1 in that regard. Hell I wouldn't even care if they didn't add to the story. Just throw in a bunch of wandering badass dudes to have kickass fights with. Though they may need a bunch of new swords cause I've just about matched every weapon skill in the game. =/

But yeah female main character. I'm getting kind of extremely bored with the kimono/sandal-fest that is the female npc cast. I need a fine lady in cool(or even stupid) armor wielding swords that I named after 2D shooters because I'm a nutter.
