Thanks for this thread, I love ogling beautiful homes. I hope to be able to build my own house after my own specifications some time, and it's nice to look at houses like these and dream that mine might be as cool. It is possible to build great houses that don't cost a fortune, you just have to be smart about it.

That underground house in Switzerland is my favourite. I have a small obsession with underground buildings, caves, bunkers and so on. How cool would it be to live in a mountain hall, for example? Like a disused bunker complex or former turbine hall or something similarly awesome.
