I'm not sure how it'd look together, a part of me says the wreath will make it all too busy. I don't even believe the "Merry Christmas" will be readable!

You need to make sure it's dimensions are 100x120px max, else the forum will downsize it and make the background white.

Also obviously save it as a .png

In honor of Starbound beta today I want to use this (from the web character creator)

but the web creator lies. It said it would make a transparent background. Which clearly it didn't. So, I'm relying on you for said task. Also, if you can make the image a bit larger that would be helpful as well.

Do you have the original image? I think it might have been resized when it was uploaded as an avatar, which is probably why it lost transparency as well.
