American roads are so wide!

I guess that's one advantage of having such a relatively new road system. Not all of our roads are that wide though, rural areas seem to have wider roads because it's not as crowded. Downtown bigger cities you'll see a lot narrower lanes.

My hometown is ugly and boring so I'm not going to post anything!

I think Trent Strong (person who started this thread) is olimario. This same exact topic and it's own thread can be found over at opa-ages. Olimario started it there.

Man, all the cities around the world look so much better than any in the US. Is it true or is it just that the grass is greener? i.e. if I (err when I) visit Tokyo I feel like all I would do is walk around the city aimlessly.

I live in Tres Cantos, Spain. Still, we consider ourselves an appendix of Madrid, like pretty much every other doorm city around it, so Madrid, fuck yeah! Gotta love how eclectic it is:

Another awesome, hi res pic of it.

Best picture I could find on the internet, all the other ones were of the Ferry that goes to Newfoundland.

This one includes part of the Ferry terminal.

The grass is greener, I'm sure. I have a friend from South Korea who spent a year over in Oklahoma, and he said he was both enthralled and frightened by the open plains. He liked being able to see for miles, but missed the constant contact with people around him. When I visited him in South Korea, I felt very confined and overstimulated, and the buildings tended to be a little oppressive. He got used to Oklahoma, and missed it when he left; I too think I would get used to--and bored by--South Korea with enough time.

I came to post the exact same picture. This is the most interesting photograph of Omaha that's ever been taken.

I remember passing through here last December on the train, most interesting stop by far. :lol

I'm staying in Hull currently, most boring and ugly city in England. Won't post pics for fear of making someone's eyes bleed.

Oklahoma City, OK

Some have posted the skyline so I will post some other sites. Not a bad place at all and the improvements over the past 10 years have been massive.
