The grass is greener, I'm sure. I have a friend from South Korea who spent a year over in Oklahoma, and he said he was both enthralled and frightened by the open plains. He liked being able to see for miles, but missed the constant contact with people around him. When I visited him in South Korea, I felt very confined and overstimulated, and the buildings tended to be a little oppressive. He got used to Oklahoma, and missed it when he left; I too think I would get used to--and bored by--South Korea with enough time.Alucrid said:Man, all the cities around the world look so much better than any in the US. Is it true or is it just that the grass is greener? i.e. if I (err when I) visit Tokyo I feel like all I would do is walk around the city aimlessly.
I came to post the exact same picture. This is the most interesting photograph of Omaha that's ever been taken.Nightshade1765 said:I'm not from a huge city. But Omaha, Nebraska suits me just fine.
