I don't mind that they added an option to remove permadeath, but I wish they kept it tied to the lower difficulty settings. That'd solidify "Classic" as the "true" Fire Emblem mode.
Also, I'm not too keen on this idea that your characters gain items and XP while your game is shut off. It's a bizarre option to grind. I just prefer a singularly balanced experience, no time-lapse grinding, no towers; just good level design and character balance. |

The same is true for classic mode. There's also a Reverse mode. I just found out about it so I don't know much about it other than enemies move first. |
