Was it to show those characters were destined to find each other, plane crash or not? If so, maybe the writers shouldn't have had Special Desmond work overtime to bring them together. Or explained that the whole point of that weird afterlife was that they'd find each other (so no surprise, there).

It's true that Kate did that, but she was hiding on the guy's farm and he actually let her and took care of her. Kate has always had a soft side, no doubt, and when he asked her to stay for just another night, she didn't see the harm in it and didn't think he would turn her in. I'm not saying that your point is invalid, I just think it's an entirely different circumstance altogether.

All you're left with is the fireworks when it all comes back to the characters. "Awwwww!" Cheap emotional manipulation, like I (and many others) said before. |

I... don't agree? I don't really know what else to say, if I continued the argument it would just be content based on my opinions. I don't think it was emotional manipulation at all and I disagree with virtually everything you wrote there. I'm comfortable with leaving it at that.

I can't believe I didn't notice this before but Mr. Eko and Caesar were in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. Just watched that on Netflix and noticed it. I guess it makes sense though, cause I didn't start watching Lost until after I saw the movie for the first time. But still, everywhere I go, there's always someone or something that reminds me of this show. I just can't let go!

This is the most ultimate theory on Walt I have ever seen. I am now complete. |

I got my parents into LOST while I've been visiting them. They're about halfway through the first season.
My sister in law is almost done season 6, I watched What Kate Does with her and my brother and enjoyed it A LOT more than I did the first time. Watching it week to week was so hard because there was so much pressure for 'answers' and 'resolutions' and 'megatons'. So when that episode was just...whatever, everyone (including me) hated it. But it's not THAT bad. It just is. |

I finally got the watch the Man in Charge. I haven't got the box set yet but I rented the final disc of Season 6 for the extras. Honestly, I didn't like it. I was hoping to get a little peak at life after the events of Lost and a chance to see some characters, but it was all about answering the little questions that we have already figured about and that I don't care about for the most part. The brief bit with Hurley made me smile, though. I guess I'm just not an answer-man, that's not what I love about Lost.
The extra features were great. The on set stuff was really fun to watch. The feature about the final season almost had me in tears with the cast getting all emotional about the show ending and reflecting on their characters. It was great to see how much they enjoyed doing the show, and being reminded of how much I enjoyed it as well. It made me think of how much I love this show and what a great time I had watching it. Lost was a joy to watch and I look forward to revisiting it many times in the future. Favorite TV show ever. ♥ |
