If you have read the manga its all pretty self explanatory except the new part with Charles, which is basically hes an asshole that makes illusions. I played through it years ago when it came out and the experience was amazing even in Japanese.

The website has opened a new section with placeholders for 5 commercials to be released from 9/30~10/4. It's not yet clear if these CM will be related to the new anime project or whether they will focus on the release of the 35th volume of the manga.

The anime was great and all, but the manga was just straight up amazing. I've rarely ever collected anything like those before but I always grab the latest Berserks.

I've spent way too much money on that damn series.

I -really- hope this keeps in line with the original's quality and manga. That would be radical.

Amazing news! The first anime might not be anywhere near as good as the Manga, but in my opinion it's still pretty good.

Also, those shots a few pages back show Puck, so it seems like it will be more authentic than the first Anime's storyline too.

If it's true, I'm not going to worry as of yet. I think CG in animation (whether mixed in with traditional stuff or all out CG) has come a long way since the Appleseed days (six years ago).

And really, even if it was hand drawn it would and could never compare to the level of art present in the manga, so I'm potentially ok with them trying something different.
