Is Disney trying to mess with fans?
Show started on Wedn, now airing on Friday night and the next ep is a Sunday morning. :lol |

I really like the show, but the pacing just isn't as good as Justice League so far.
I enjoyed that most of the episodes in JL and JLU were self-contained stories, even if they had an over-arching season plotline. At the very least, they attempted to clean up one mess before moving onto another. It seems like every episode of Avengers ends with a cliffhanger or some villain cackling maniacally in the shadows. examples: The Mad Thinker and the escape plot from the vault/cube/big house - dropped; Masters of Evil and Loki's master plan - dropped; Viper is actually a Skrull? - dropped; Carol Danvers getting her Ms. Marvel powers and the upcoming Kree/Skrull war? - dropped; and now with the latest episode we have Ultron hinted at becoming evil and Kang's vague allusion to Cap betraying the team in the near future (probably a Skrull plotline) They can't possibly use all of this in the first season. Cramming all of this in there just so you can go "SEE! SEE! Everyone's here!" just seems forced and makes it seem like the show lacks direction. When Spectacular Spiderman introduced new characters, they were almost never throwaways. Only Hobie Brown, Mac Gargan, and Morris Bench never really got their immediate day in the sun, and that's more due to cancellation than to poor planning. |

I agree with you wholeheartedly they have WAY too many plot threads hanging loose and instead of moving forward, they add more. And I don't see it all wrapping up in the first season or that will be a complete mess!

I think they have been handling the plotlines pretty well tbh.
As previously mentioned, most of them are connected one way or another and I think we will start seeing them loop back very soon. Most of them anyway. Besides, I think that they plan to have them transition to other plot-lines, not terminate. |

Nice! I didn't know there was a thread about this series. Glad to know there's one. :D
Great show so far. Solid action and not too kiddy. I'm also happy it's in HD. Hopefully we get at least 3 seasons of this series before it's cancelled. :lol On a side note; I'm FINALLY about to finish the X-Men cartoon from the 90's. Always wanted to watch it all, but never was able to. Thank you, Netflix. |

Gotta catch em all!" plot because that honestly wasn't doing anything for me. Also, Thor and Hawkeye are the best things about this show. I love them. |

Just a heads up to everyone that the show is back from its short hiatus, new episodes are airing (I think in Australia first) every day this week. Fight choreography has been meh, but the plotlines are starting to sizzle a bit.

I hope this show isn't getting overlooked. Aside from Spectacular Spider-Man and maybe X-Men TAS, it's the best thing Marvel Animation has done. The animation isn't quite on par with DC's output, but it's still very good. Though the main draw is the way there putting the many different stories together. The pacing can seem a bit fast sometimes (it's still the first season yet so many things are happening), but the execution is perfect. Especially in those last few shows. Episode 21's ending was flawless.
Writing's excellent too. Everything that comes out of the Hulk's mouth is gold. Seriously, watch this show people. |

The problem is that DC has had a longer and better presence, this show is okay, but nothing special to me.
That said, I'm glad to see its back. |

This show is mostly hit, sometimes miss. The first Kang episode was great with how powerful Kang was then the next two episodes just made him look weak.
I do find it funny gaffers are complaining in the Young Justice thread that they are tired of seeing everything tied to The Light story while Avengers has too many stories it seems. |

I like the show and the writing with the different subplots is really good. It is true that the animation done by film roman is a bit sub par. Marvel, unlike DC, has had to rely on outside studios to do the actual animation. Hopefully, with Disney's backing, everything will be done in house and Ultimate Spider-man ( at least from the test footage looks to be really good) is the first of such collaborations.

After everything else that's already been used/setup in the first Season, now we even have the Civil War/Superhuman Registration Act right on the horizon. I hope the producers have a lot of ideas and story arcs already planned out, or else they might not have much to work with by the time a third Season rolls around. |

Does anyone know if a new one aired today or was Ultron 5 the most recent one?

How about a DVD extra where they don't play the intro?

Loving how there's pretty much no filler in this show. I still feel that they might be moving a bit too fast surely Ultron can be done already?, but it makes every episode worthwhile at least.

So season 1, I think is complete... unless there's an episode 26, and it was... yeah... kind of end on a huge downer but with hope I guess.
Wonder how long before series 2 starts airing. |
