Just finished this on Netflix. What an amazing show! Can't wait for s2!

Are there any other western animation shows like this?

Its simple animation style is deceiving. Its actually pretty entertaining. It helps when you have Chris Yost writing most of the episodes.

DC has always hit it out of the park with their animated series (for the most part), but Avengers is without wanting to stretch too much into hyperbole almost perfect. The way they balance the characters, both thematically and emotionally, is really great. If you like Marvel, there just simply isn't a Marvel cartoon to date that is better than Avengers.

That being said I watched all of it on Netflix which means I'm going to have to wait forever to watch season 2. Seriously who gets Disney XD?

A lot of cable/satellite packages get DXD actually.

It's not part of basic cable. It is available to most people, but most people aren't going to pay extra to get the military channel and Disney XD. Plus I hate Comcast and I like Netflix.

Unrelated but if Disney had a streaming service that had on demand classic cartoons, movies, plus their current shows I would be on that so fast.

I went back and re-watched some of the old episodes, I really love this show. One thing that bothered me though, in Breakout part 2, Thor are the Hulk are completely reckless in their fight with Graviton. Thor blasts him with his hammer when he's holding a freaking island several hundred feet above the water, and he just drops it. The Hulk knocks him into a train yard, destroying nearly everything inside. Then Thor ends the fight by hitting him with the biggest thunderbolt of the entire series, destroying several surrounding blocks in the process and leaving a massive gaping crater in the middle of the city. All told the Avengers cause literally billions in property damage in just their first fight, and in the next episode NYC is back to normal. Apartment insurance must be insane living in Marvel Manhattan.

Is Young Justice still around? I've given up hope. There's like 20 weeks left in the year and the 1st season is supposed to have 16 more episodes. What a waste of an amazing artstyle and great animation.

There is a comic series in the Marvel Universe that focuses on the construction company that goes around fixing all the shit that superheroes break while "saving" the world.

There're ratings for both what they think you'll give and one for overall average. I've seen a few low ratings but the majority of ratings are high both there and on amazon.

It's not Marvel's fault. The new Spiderman series is the first Spiderman series done entirely by Marvel. It's not going to start til fall of 2012.

Other news is another series is development for Disney XD staring a bunch of Hulks.

In the EMH S2 ep 1: Thor and Antman are off the team for now. It centers around Dr. Doom and the Avengers joining up with the Fantastic Four. At the end, Doom finds out that someone is a Skrull and it's not Cap.

Ant-Man was expected, but interesting to hear about Thor. I guess he's getting Agard back to normal after Loki's takeover.

Is the entire episode available somewhere? Getting hard to avoid all these spoilers. Apparently, even IGN posted them.

that's exactly the reason given..Ant Man and Thor are missing in the intro

you can read the play by play here http://marvel.com/news/story/16256/s...veblog_central

Marvel is suppose to post the panel on Monday on their site. It was a stream then they cut it off.

Watched the first few episodes, amazing show. So that newer Spiderman show that was cancelled is available on Instant Watch as well? Any other good comic shows with decent art and good animation. I could never watch any of the 90's shows because of ugly art and bad animation.

Ironman Armored Adventures is ok if you can look over the fact that Tony Stark is a 16 year old kid.

That's why I lost interest after 4 eps. I dunno, it's hard for me to enjoy a show where a 16yr old is the baddest motherfucker on the planet. It's the same reason why I'm having difficulty enjoying the Bleach anime right now too.

I saw the Breakout episode. I'm not usually this impressed with most animation series. Pacing, action, (and fan service) was great and wasn't letting up the whole time. Found myself smiling while watching and when I realized it, I just had to tell myself 'holy sht this is good'!

Thor's cape is hilarious. Somebody looked at the way Kirby would draw a cape in motion and put it on Thor even when he's standing still. Lol.
