Would love for the thread title to be: "In Soviet Russia, controller is YOU!"
I'm surprised this is coming out so soon. I haven't seen many ads for it yet. Perhaps they're blanketing network TV (I watch almost exclusively cable channels). Still, I thought this was getting a huge marketing push? Are they saving most of that for the holiday rush? |

I still don't get it. Kinect requires decent amounts of room, and the E3 featured lots of Asians, but they, well at least the Japanese, don't have lots of room. Am I right in thinking that they aren't going to promote the Kinect in Japan that much?

At any rate, I didn't think much of the PS3 for a long while. Then Demon's Souls happened and that changed right quick. I'm sure that magic'll happen for me with Kinect, but then again, From Software is rumored to have made a deal with the devil to make Demon's Souls.

I told myself I wasn't going to look at anything till closer to release and that gamespot video really looks good. I have 3 kids 3/5/6 and I'm sure they will love this thing. I want to get the fitness and the kinect animals the car one looks nice too. Just pre ordered my slim/kinect bundle hope I won't end up returning it....:D

Have they found a solution for those of us with 256MB Arcades? Since NXE takes up 128MB and I understand this requires something like 175MB. I'm sure as hell not interested in this yet, but I'm sure there are people out there in my same situation that also don't feel like paying for an overpriced HDD.

While MS could eat all the Kinect losses in doing so the entertainment division will probably go under. They can't have that big of a loss anymore and have their shareholders be happy with a successor. The huge female push with Ellen and Oprah is interesting (and smart). Soon we'll see if it pays off. I'm wondering if MS should just try to re-brand the Xbox division to Kinect. How many moms want to say, "Xbox on!" I can see them saying "Kinect on!", though. Kinect is a much more appealing word to a female than Xbox.
