There are some pretty awesome guides out there that lay it out for you if you happen to not want to struggle through it on your own.

So I've been looking for a new game and was wondering if there was any word about Angry Birds Space coming to the marketplace? I have just recently bought my first smartphone so I've never played the original game and I honestly would rather buy the sequel rather than the original.

If you aren't sick of tower defense games yet, a couple of good ones just dropped last week
Treasure Defense - Free, with pretty good production values. Level design is a little iffy but it plays well enough. Radiant Defense - Hexage games have always been top-notch, and this is no different. $2.99, but if I were to choose between these 2 games I'd take RD. It looks gorgeous and seems to be more balanced than Treasure Defense. |

Yeah Treasure Defense is impressive, so I guess the Radiant one must be too. I find Treasure Defense to be a game competing with the best of what's on iOS, are there any other non-XBL games that would be that polished?
I found a few while browsing through piles of crap, Right now I have installed Chromatic, Dragon's Blade, Mahjong, Penguin, Running Dude Free, Unscrambled, Wordament, Rizing, Titan, Wizard's Choice and a bunch of XBLIG ports I already played on Xbox so I know are good (Lil Demons Splatter, Square Off Free, Rainbow Rapture Free, Hypership, Kung Fu Fight Free) As for XBL games I got Orbital and find it to be awesome, it reminds me of Magnetic Billiards for iOS. Text Twist 2 is less polished than Wordament. iStunt2 is fun but I wish it had virtual controls on top of tilt. de Blob was a surprise to me, I like it a lot, don't know how to describe it but great for puzzle fans. |

There are definitely some insane people playing Wordament, especially during the evening hours (PST). I really don't know how they get some of the scores they do.
I've been getting better at the game, but I still boomerang all over the place -- getting 70% one round, and 94% the next -- though it seems most of that happens if I'm playing Digram puzzles (I do quite well at these) or Themed ones (in which I fail). I'd say my typical puzzle average is around 85%, which usually entails having under half the score of the leader, so... meh. Edit: Decided to boot it up and look at my stats. Best game score: 763 Best word count: 54 Best word: "droughts" +69 Full games completed: 174 Average game score: 385.3 Average word count: 35.4 Average word score: 10.9 Best ranking: 11 Conclusion: decidedly (below?) average. :P

I'd say that is a fair amount above average, just not close to the freaks up to the top.
My stats: Best game score: 748 Best word count: 49 Best word: shavers +49 Games played: 76 Best ranking: 3 Top ten wins: 17 Average game score: 405 Average word count: 34.9 Average word score: 11.6 |

GeoDefense is hitting the 16th... I'm really wanting FX2 and Shoot1up as well. Hoping some new stuff is shown at E3 as well...

Wordament has seriously crept into my mind so that i have literally been daydreaming about making words...I can get top 10% sometimes but gosh darn if there aren't a lot of smart people with WP7, I bet a lot of them playing are msft employees like me lol |

I love the geoDefense and geoDefense Swarm achievements...they are challenging but not unattainable.
I have been unable to figure out how scoring works in geoDefense - even with "Star" result (not losing a single life) the scores seem to vary wildly - is it better to be 'overpowered' with tons of towers on the field or is it better to not overspend? Should see Shoot 1up released eventually...I hope it is soon |

Looks like they ran out of alcohol and stopped believing customers would pay a $2 premium for achievements.

Not just Final Fantasy was confirmed, but Super Monkey Ball 2 and Galaxi Legions DX were confirmed too, I actually like Legions DX a lot and technically most of the game is just finding out the right place to move so it might work well on mobile. Emphasize the word might...
Hopefully more things will be announced with E3...I am actually having a hard time finding games that can be played with one hand - I live in Tokyo and pretty much even geoDefense Swarm is pushing my luck while standing on a train. Bejeweled Live is literally one of the only games that works okay vertical orientation and with one hand. I might have mentioned it before but it is worth repeating that the free game Tap Quest inside Taptitude has to be one of the most fun games on WP7: http://www.windowsphone.com/en-US/ap...2-78e7d1fa76f8 (I have nothing to do with these creators, I just think it is cool that a free game is getting some success in the middle of so much crap) |

Against all reason I bought FF for $6.99 (just came out a couple days ago)
Seeing the Square Enix logo pop up and hearing the title music kick in as the Amano artwork appears is kind of surreal (for being on a Windows Phone). The achievements appear in a blue RPG style window which is kind of cute...but they are all ??? so maybe they are story related ones (I didnt look at the link above) It has been a long time since I did it but I could swear back in the day I did a 4 monk party and totally dominated later in the game... I honestly dont know what version this is based upon but it must be DS or something? |

iOS version having no achievements/GameCenter was the main reason I have held off getting most of their games there, so I am glad to show Square support for achievement love.
Tentacles is pretty much what it feels like from the demo, the levels get a little bit harder later on but mostly it is "wait...tap tap tap...wait...tap tap tap" which is the sort of simplicity I like. The graphics are gorgeous and the context is interesting, being inside some guys body...I can totally recommend it especially for the sales price, just saying if you do not like the demo then the rest of the game doesn't really change from that. Probably one of the top 10 WP7 exclusives in any case.. |

If FF1 price drop or have a deal then i will buy it lol, need games that have depth. Only one game per week err? How long does Microsoft give out free xbla wp7 games? Any upcoming one outside of ones from the makers of bug village? |

That is definitely a cute art style, I am not a huge fan of tilt games ... maybe if it is cheap I will bite. Super Monkey Ball 2 just came out and is getting much better reviews than the first one.
Personally I am playing a lot of Fling, very simple puzzle fun. |

There is a good non-XBLA puzzle game that was released a couple of months ago, kinda like Tetris meet Space Invaders:
Pixel Shaper
