Ha - Tales of Graces F opens well, and pretty much cements PS3 as the home of Tales (home versions, at least).

Sports Mix seems to be doing reasonably well - nearly 60k second week isn't too shabby.

EDIT:

...and the race for Wii/PS3 YTD is tight as hell. Wii looks like it could just nab it, and both seem pretty flat YoY.

From my observations in the big game stores over the last week, I think the Wii will beat out the PS3 this December.

It's...uhm...not exactly interesting but still a little remarkable that the 360 is down from last week when everything else is apparently rising in this time of the year (except for the PS3 which is down from its GT bump). It's like Kinect is not only bombing but also completely irrelevant to the point where they might not even bother to promote it for the holiday season.

We're like antagonists aren't we. You are ~300% out of 430% off thanks to that Penguin prediction, but its only 41k in the units. Me on the other hand I'm off 536k out of 665k just from MHP3 but that's only 17% in the percentage rankings :lol

I'm thinking that maybe Namco did the right thing by releasing it first on the Wii and then porting/enhancing it on the PS3. That allowed them to net 500k (Grace PC3 will most likely sell more than 300k units) out of a single game in Japan.

would Tales of Grace sell 500k if it had been released on the PS3 only? I somehow doubt it, I guess Xillia will tell us how a PS3 exclusive Tales could perform.

If it stays in the 300-350k range, then it would definitely be smarter to release a "dumbed down" Wii version first and "enhance it" for PS3 9 months down the road and abuse the double dippers.

If it does 500k+ and there's no overlap between Wii and PS3 buyers... well go PS3 only I guess :p

PS Scamco, enough with the bullshit, release Tales of Grace in Canada -_-

It wasn't a re-re-re-re-re-release of Monster Hunter though. It's the only console version of Monster Hunter Frontier - which is the PC online game.
