Guernsey. I don't think anyone ever complained about getting hit with fees for Zavvi, or if they did they never brought it up in these threads.

I never been hit with fees, but when I ordered from Zavvi last week I checked the gift option box, just in case.

To clarify the shop-to issue...

Their PR claimed that the leak was caused by their pay processor, not the site itself. I can confirm that the card info was in fact leaked, as one of the people from another forum I post on got his account wiped clean, but since then shop-to claimed that they've switched to another payment processor. Since then, no reports have been published about new leaks, so I think the website is pretty secure. Paypal has been implemented as well and there is 3D certification, so there shouldn't be any problems.

I have ordered 17 orders in the past 2 years and I'm extremely happy with the service. Many people who I know have done the same and except the man who's money got stolen, I don't know anyone who had problems with the delivery or customer support.

Also, they always skip the customs office over here. I haven't read any reports about additional taxes and people have been ordering hundreds (if not thousands) of games from that website over the course of 3 years.

Awesome OT2. Those games that you can wait for, that drop to 17.99 usually after a month, is what this thread is about.

It seems to be gone everywhere...

If you can stand waiting ages, perhaps forever, then you could try Click a Game, as they will accept an order for £11.95 right now

The "Usually dispatched within a month" part most likely means they are out of stock, and likely will never get any more, but if you have an order in, then you'll be first in line if they find a rouge copy hidden somewhere.

No money will be taken until the game is dispatched (if it is ever!), so you are not losing out on money by trying.

Stupid question: Assassin´s Creed 2 for Mac, yes, MAC, is this on any download site right now that I can access from Germany and has it for less than 50€? Steam doesn´t seem to have the mac version.

My sister´s boyfriend wants it for Christmas, but it´s 50€ (!!!) on Amazon.de. I could get the same game five times on the pc for that price...

Stumbling on it in the high street is a good bet if you don't care about used. I'm sure it was £12.99 or £14.99 in GAME for a used copy. I know what its like for a sudden out of print to occur as thats what basically happened to me regarding Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of The New World. Also, it looks like the options of import might be the best bet for that game as well as Ace Attorney.

Still not worth it. I mean it might be to some because the game is free until they get their act together but it's so frustrating and slow.

Yeah game is free to play for the next while. I picked it up from Zavvi this weekend for €12. I liked the beta mostly, just not enough to actually pay to play it.

I know this won't help anyone but interestingly when my DKCR arrived the warehouse sticker on the package gave it a value of £20.09 so it wasn't just their website glitching up.
Now I'll just have to wait and see the credit card bill to see if I managed to got a really good day 1 deal.

Pity I missed that GoldenEye deal, worth it for the controller alone and would have been an ideal gift to give to my parent to give to me for Christmas fully aware that spoils the surprise of Christmas

If this means I can take advantage of the RPG deal thing I´ll cum all over my laptop

You just select the amazon website you want to buy from, you make your order, and you can login with the same account, nothing special to do.
I am from France and I often order from Amazon.co.uk or .de they both have good delivery times (less than a week) Amazon.com has much longer delivery times though...

It's like ordering from Amazon.de. You need to have a credit card, though.
