Zavvi already charged my credit card, but I totally forget about the commission the credit card company takes! I still have money in the credit card, but not enough money. They charged both games separately and took commission for each one, if they charged the whole sum at once I would have had enough money

What do I do now? They won't have enough money when they try to charge for shipping.

Well the reasonable expectation would be that you get one of them at £12.50 and the other one simply doesn't ship.

Knowing Zavvi though, they'll probably charge you full price for one of the titles, and refuse to cancel your order telling you it's already been despatched, despite the fact that they hold no stock of it and won't be mailing it out to you for another month.

The thing is, I'm looking at the credit card transaction history right now, and I see I've only been charged twice for 15 EURO each. It seem you still didn't charge my credit card for 1.21 EURO (The price I got for shipping when doing the checkout). I don't have have enough money in the credit card in case Zavvi will try to charge that 1.21 EURO, that's what I was talking about in my first message. Maybe I'm looking at it wrong. this is the second time in 2 weeks ive had problems with amazon delivery,

last week it was witcher 2 where i used first class delivery turned up 3 days late, and a week later prototype 2 first class delivery still hasnt turned up today.

on a positive note they have refunded the delivery charge and if prototype 2 isnt here by may 3rd they will send another free.

im considering not using them anymore 2 poor deliveries in 2 weeks is not good enough, not when shopto is free delivery and next day or 2 days early with a new release

It's only my second time ordering from them.
The first time I ordered from them, the game was dispatched on the 24.1 (Tuesday) and arrived on the 29.1 (Sunday).

There's a sale in a private store here in Israel, and there's some notable games for just 8 pounds! Red Dead Redemption Undead Nightmare, Dead Space 2, Yakuza 4, ModNation Racers, Brink and some older ones. I think I might pick up Dead Space 2, although, I didn't play the first one. Is it worth picking without playing the first one?

Would have picked up Undead Nightmare as well, but Red Dead Redemption goes for about 14 pounds. It's better to just buy the GOTY edition at this price, or wait the price drop.

I've ordered stuff from Zavvi countless times and the average delivery time is approximately 10 days. I still hope it gets here, I am no rush to play it, just to have it in my collection for dark days.

If it does not arrive, I will contact Zavvi and they will try to contact my local post service. The local post service will tell them to fuck off and that they do not track their parcels.

I think you have to count 20 business days btw. So the last day for it to logically arrive would be 4th of May. (provided that there isn't any Estonian or British holiday somewhere in between.

After they themselves wrote me an email and said that my orders got cancelled by accident (after the rags had been shipped, for laughing out loud), I have sent them two letters saying that I would very much like to receive the games that I ordered and that I was entitled to. As a matter of fact, I did.

I received both games for the price quoted in the campaign (£18 or smth). They did however arrive very late and at least the Dark Souls game box was half-crushed due to poor packaging.

Meaning they honored their promise in terms of the sweater-game campaign. It's just that they were unable to communicate it, not even after the ten or so emails I sent them.

That story had a happy ending at least.
